Agthomson Posted February 16, 2012 Share Posted February 16, 2012 I'm a Powertech ST, and i'm the MT for my Guild, having tanked all 8-man Ops (Normal, Hard, Nightmare). We're definitely reliable and viable, and are better for some bosses than other tanks. However, the same can be said for other tanks. There's no "best tank" for end game from what I can see. Regarding Heroic 2+ and 4+: 2+ are possible, but 4+ is a tall ask if you are on-level. With a well-geared Mako, 2+ are pretty straightforward. To be honest I was normally questing above my level, so didn't attempt a 4+ solo. One issue I found with PT ST is that it's slower leveling that a DPS spec.
