They mentioned this some time ago, that with how they started doing it, working backwards and how that tied into the current events... That the farther they go back the less sense it would make. Jedi fans' rage against the last issue, plus Dark Horse re-writing the past of the Jedi in their new Dawn of the Jedi -comic could be to blame. I really enjoyed Gnost-Dural's accounts of the events leading up to the Treaty of Coruscant. I'm just starting to really get into the EU. For the eras previous to this - minus the new DotJ comic - I would suggest looking at the Tales of the Jedi -series omnibus collections and the KOTOR comic and it's new continuation, KOTOR: WAR.
