All of your characters are stored on the servers - if they were stored locally everyone could hack their characters to kingdom come and back. A tip if you have limited bandwidth allowance or just can't be bothered re-downloading the game. Locate and copy the game folder to an external harddrive and copy it right back onto the new computer.
