NO_Walking
I'm wanting to pick up a small SSD to hold TOR to increase load times. Can I grab any type of SSD, or would I need a specific type for my computer? Any advice on which one I should get? Thanks for any help everyone
Vauleen
The OCZ Vertex Line is awesome. It has super high read and write speeds. Depending on the SATA version your motherboard supports you can either run the Vertex 2 or 3. Vertex 2 - SATA 2.0 3.0Gbps Vertex 3 - SATA 3.0 6.0 Gbps Hope that helps -Vaul

Khyler
The only requirement you have for a SSD, is that you have the type of connection on your computer that it uses. Both data and power. Also, the bigger the better for storage. SWOTR is the only thing installed on it, and it's at 32.3mb. The other thing you I'll mention, because it is happening to me, is that every update fails to install properly on my SSD. So I update the program on my harddrive, then copy over the files that changed (i sort by date).
jarjarloves
if you can get one big enough to hold your windows operating system and the game. This will help with load times.
Vauleen
How do I tell what my motherboard supports? You need to look up what motherboard you have. If it was a premade like a Dell use their site. If it was custom you'll need to find the box or look at the motherboard itself inside your case.
