thewatcheruatu Posted February 8, 2012 Share Posted February 8, 2012 So something I haven't been able to figure out is why some of the moddable gear you see in game isn't represented by the orange coloring that most moddable armor has in the frame of the box and the name of the item. For example, Corso Riggs gave me his Sparkles WESTAR-18 Bolt Pistol. It's got green coloring for everything, but it's fully moddable. Is this a bug, or is this some sort of representation of the quality of the modded item? For example, will a modded orange item produce better base stats than a modded green item? Like the Ceremonial Vibroblade you can get from the weapon vendor at the DK spaceport. There are several companion specific green moddable weapons as well.
