IMO: Aric - Best if you want/need DPS Elara - Best if you need a healer M1-4X - Best if you need a Tank. As a shield spec I love elara. i don't have teh highest DPS but I can outlast just about anyone. For assault i'm guessing you'd either want the healer/Elara or the tank/M1 If it were me (and just my opinion) if I was assault i'd probably want M1 for his tanking abilities to keep enemies occupied while I pick them off one by one. va_wanderer Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 I actually pair up with Aric, personally. We work out pretty darn well. On weaker stuff, they just get mowed down. On big stuff, I kite, he keeps the constant DPS up, and I just taunt it back whenever it turns on Aric (he's a big kitty and can take a few hits anyway.) Vik's pretty good DPS too, if you can get him stuck in. -4X tanks, but he needs you to pay attention and keep him up close to as much of a group as possible. Elara is for when you want to have endurance- she's good enough to let you outlast most big mobs, long as you keep your head on straight. When you've gotta, absolutely grind out a win over a long period of time, she'll let you do it. I usually prefer Aric in most circumstances.
