Mistress_Ivi Posted June 18, 2012 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Counsulars, reach the rank of master from finishing chapter 1 - not level based. When act 3, I think, starts... you are informed under some strange republic wartime law... that you as a master, are granted the rank of General. The reason behind this is quite simple, really. Counsulars are the "Commanders" Planning types, those who use their head over brute force - thus - they gain rank quickly and train the next bunch of Jedi for the order. The Knight on the other hand, is like the Trooper. Kept a relatively low rank because they need to be on the front lines at all times. The moment they reach the rank of master, the order will want to keep them somewhat safer so they can help train and defend the next generation of vanguard knights and diplomats. That said, because of what's been said... I think it's kinda strange the knight only just reaches master at the end... compared to the counsulars progress.
