Seems to be a nice buy to augment the CE goodies. I myself got the DDE and this. Figure I don't need a statue or the cosmetic CE vendor stuff. I saved $50 also! Phinion
Sounds like a great deal now. But this is an MMO not a console game and our world has a tendency to have changes that are made. Some of those changes will be good, some wil be bad. But either way that book will be obsolete very quickly.
lydicjc
Doesn't seem like anything would be changed. The book is mostly maps. The datacron locations will be the same also.
Tule
I wouldn't buy it. The guide I use is a lot cheaper and is constantly updated: http://www.google.com
Jessabeans
It will ship after the 20th, and will start the process of being outdated by the first patch. So it won't be entirely useful, but you can be the judge of that I'm sure.
Pherdnut
That's a lot to pay for Gamefaqs.
CelsiusNivlek
All that information and much more is on the internet for free!
wcucarter
I wouldn't buy it. The guide I use is a lot cheaper and is constantly updated: http://www.google.com This. So much free info on the internets makes a guide like that pretty useless. Try http://www.torhead.com or http://www.darthhater.com . Cheers! Restepor
I would buy it mostly because it's SWTOR on it. As a guide I rather use the internet, haven't used a guide book for any of my games I've ever played.
Off_The_Wall
http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Republic-Explorers-Guide/dp/0307890457/ref=pd_sim_vg_1/188-8411429-5689360 Anyone else picking this up? Seems to be a nice buy to augment the CE goodies. I myself got the DDE and this. Figure I don't need a statue or the cosmetic CE vendor stuff. I saved $50 also! I also ordered this and paid extra to receive it the same day TOR officially launches (12/20). Just to be able to have a starting source for gear, mobs, missions and maps to make my own notes on is valuable. When Prima updates it in a second edition I'll gladly buy that too.
