jentsch Posted January 23, 2012 Share Posted January 23, 2012 I started out with an assassin but recently switched over to a bounty hunter. I am a powertech and am looking to make a dps pyrotech. I do some pvp so it doesnt matter if the build is pvp, pve or both. I see all sorts of builds all over the place but im not great with understanding all the terms everyone uses (sorry im semi-new). If someone could please share with me a good pyro build + let me know the rotation to use and also inform me on what stats i should look for in armor/weapons i would be greatly appreciative. cdstephen Posted January 23, 2012 Share Posted January 23, 2012 In general, Aim is your most important stat, followed by accuracy until the cap at 100%, then crit, then surge, then power. In PvP, expertise is the most important of course. This is what I use, though there are many talents in the Pyrotech tree that can be swapped for others since some are only useful in PvP. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#301bMZMsZfhMbdGGMs.1 For priority list: Rapid Shots (15-25 heat) > Incediary Missile (DoT not present) > Rail Shot > Thermal Detonator > Rocket Punch > Flame Burst.
