Marauder Skill Points (balancing)

Here is a VERY short summary of each EMPIRE based class's primary attribute skill point buff and ability to reduce their stun break skill, and what tier it is listed in.

Note when you get to the bottom and see what marauder's says.

 

Bounty Hunter

Mercenary

PRIMARY ATTRIBUTE:

-Arsenal (tier 1)

-Iron Sights = Aim 3% (3 points) 9%

STUN/SNARE/ROOT BREAK:

-Arsenal (tier 4)

-Jet Escape = Jet Boost CD by 5 sec and Determination CD by 15 sec (2 points) CDs reduced by 10/30 secs respectively

 

Power Tech

PRIMARY ATTRIBUTE:

-Shield Tech (tier 2)

-Steely Resolve = Aim 3% (3 points) 9%

STUN/SNARE/ROOT BREAK:

-Advanced Prototype (tier 5)

-Hydraulic Override = 8 sec immunity to STUN/SNARE/ROOT/KD/PHYSICS/movement up 30%

 

Sith Inquisitor

Assassin

PRIMARY ATTRIBUTE:

- NA

- NA

STUN/SNARE/ROOT BREAK:

-Deception

-Avoidance = Jolt CD by 1 sec and Unbreakable Will CD by 15 sec (2 points) CDs reduced by 2/30 sec respectively

 

Sorcerrer

PRIMARY ATTRIBUTE:

-Madness (tier 1)

-Will of the Sith = Willpower 3% (2 points) 6%

STUN/SNARE/ROOT BREAK:

- NA

- NA

 

Imperial Agent

Sniper

PRIMARY ATTRIBUTE:

-Engineering (tier 1)

-Gearhead = Cunning 3% (3 points) 9%

STUN/SNARE/ROOT BREAK:

-Lethality (tier 4)

-Vanish = Evasion CD by 7.5 sec and Escape CD by 15 sec (2 points) CDs reduced by 15/30 sec respectively

 

Operative

PRIMARY ATTRIBUTE:

-Medicine (tier 1)

-Imperial Education Cunning 3% (3 points) 9%

STUN/SNARE/ROOT BREAK:

-Lethality (tier 4)

-Vanish = Evasion CD by 7.5 sec and Escape CD by 15 sec (2 points) CDs reduced by 15/30 sec respectively

 

 

Sith Warrior

Juggernaught

PRIMARY ATTRIBUTE:

-Veneance (tier 2)

-Dreadnaught = Str 3% (2 points) 6%

STUN/SNARE/ROOT BREAK:

-Immortal (tier 3)

-Unleashed = Unleashed CD by 15 sec (2 points) CD reduced by 30 sec

-Vengence (tier 3)

-Unstoppable = Force Charge 50% to grant "Unstoppable" (2 points) 100%

"Unstoppable" = reducing damage taken 20%, immunity to interrupts/controlling effects for 4 sec

 

Marauder

PRIMARY ATTRIBUTE:

-NA

STUN/SNARE/ROOT BREAK:

-NA

 

 

So the MELEE DPS class does not get a bonus to their primary attribute, nor do they get the ability to reduce their stun breaker to 1 min, 30 secs. Other than Carnage tier 5, Unbound that removes movement impairing effects (NOT STUNS) w/ out force camo.

 

I would think that "Undying Rage" would give us immunity to Stun/Root/Snare/KD/Physics for its duration, or Unleashed would give us immunity for 6 seconds after using, as a trade off for not having the ability to reduce its CD.

no one else thinks the melee dps class is missing a strength skill box from tier 1-2 or at all in our tree(s) is odd? maybe forgotten?

 

I think they didn't do that so you can choose your tree without being forced deep into one (tier 2) as any flat Strength increase would be a huge increase in damage irrespective of spec and would simply grow with better gear.

 

Marauder needs CC immunity after charge for 4 seconds - would possibly all we need.
