Merc Battlemaster Gear Stats poorly designed

Let me preface this that these results actually come from some very intensive testing and some easy mmo-math. First, as a DPS merc you want to focus on Aim>Power>Surge>Crit>Alacrity>Accuracy. Here is the reason why. Stat itemization so far favors the bonus damage from power over any other stat. This means an item at 140 will have significantly less of its itemization balance(how many points go where) into power leaving more stats available elsewhere. 8 aim>8 power but an item with +power will typically have more on an upgrade than the resulting aim benefit so you get an average of +20 power vs +8ish aim. You get much of your accuracy from talents. Players at level 50 have 105 base defense which is easily obtainable for your specials with the right spec.

The Champion eliminator gear was rather well itemized with several of the pieces using+power and +surge. i was unlucky enough to get 4 helms and yanked +power/surge mods out and replaced the others. The battlemaster needs more choices. ATM there is no +power/surge pieces to get stats from by yanking the enh/mod. if you compare the items to the other sub categories it seems that there is less variation, in that the gear is too similar.

With the above stated here is my current damage output average tracer missle with fully debuffed target 2.7-3500, average crit 3800-5500, heatseaker missle base 3k crit 6k. Railshot 2.8-3600, crit 3900-5700.

If I were to wear battlemaster gear, those numbers drop significantly. The battlemaster is worse than the centurion belt (which was slightly better than the champion belt) becsause the itemization switches to crit(there are no power options). Please help as other classes gear is more favorably itemized.

i completely agree,it needs badly more crit and surge rating

i swapped the chest and the head for more critical rating, cuz with the pvp set i can only reach 28% crit wich is kinda pathetic

i think it is the medic hands and head that have the crit/surge on them so when you get a duplicate of those you get the medic, pull out the mods and shove them into the enforcer set. Its work no doubt but i think it will be highly effective personally i think

aim>crit (to 30-35)>surge(to 85ish)>power

*edit* for pve accuracy to at least 105 trumps all imo, 110 ideal but 105 min

dont matter how hard you hit when you miss */edit*
