Gun_Slinger
I realize that the Empire is run by the Sith, and that it is the "Sith Empire." But I am just curious why it is that, as a Sith Warrior, when I see non force user NPCs, and interact with them, the ones in uniform with british accents, invariably I refer to them as Imperials, and even in conversation sometimes with Darth Baras he refers to Imperials almost as if they are a different group. And in turn they refer to me as Sith. Is Imperial in this context just meant to mean the non force using imperial soldiers/officers/citizens? As a Sith Warrior am I not still an "Imperial." Or is there something in the lore I am missing? That there was an empire already that the sith took over or something?
Col_Wilson
They are referred to as two different groups, but they are all Imperials. Just as the Jedi and the Republic are two different groups, but the Jedi serve the Republic. Edited January 12, 2012 by Col_Wilson

VanorDM
The Sith are the rulers of the Sith Empire, they are the nobility, I think when they refrer to someone as an Imperial it's sorta like saying Citizen or peon.
