theangryllama Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 So I'm torn and looking for some opinions from those who are tanking in PvP at 50... mostly revolving around wondering if it gets better. 43 atm, jumping between pyro dps and shield tech (currently pyro cause its to expensive to spec back lol). As far as levelling away goes they both seem about the same, pyro kills things quicker, shield has less down time and with mako can chip away at anything inc champions without much of a dent. PvP though I seem to have hit a point that tanking is somewhat terrible. Sorcs, assassins, mercs and ops (and mirrors) rip me apart while seemingly being harder to kill than me and i generally feel kinda useless as i annoy them about as much as a fly does. The most I get to see is '2k protection medal, 5k protection medal, 10k protection medal, you have died'. Where as as pyro I can at least kill some people before i die a horrible painful death. Is this purely because I'm levelling and getting trounced by geared 50s or does it stay this way at 50 to? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
