Mrshush Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 (edited) id say assault, also make a post in trooper forums under class, you will get more help there then the general "troll" forums, as you can tell. i say assault only because of the the lvl 40 skill in the tree replaces your sticky gernade with a better version. but other then that nothing really improves your aoe dmg, however do not be disheartened our aoe is still superior to any other classes. as we have more. rabnnod Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 I would give Assault a very slight edge in AoE damage. You can spec Rain of Fire and easily ignite a group of enemies with plasma grenade and get 9% bonus damage on Hail of Bolts while the targets are burning. However plasma grenade is on a 30 sec cooldown and only ignites the targets for 6 seconds so it isn't a huge difference.
