My question is, this is how my talents are currently arranged: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#501bcZhrZG.1 Should I change how I currently have my skill points allotted so I can get to Ataru and Precision Slash earlier on, or can I continue progressing up the tree the way I am now? Also, since I do not currently HAVE Precision Slash, is Master Strike a good opener or should I be using something different? Finally: Zen or Transcendence? Thanks for any helpful info. Maefly Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) Don't flatten out your tree until much later in the game. If you're going to level Combat, get Ataru and Precision Slash as soon as possible. These are both big damage increases. Also you want to pick up any talents that generate centering or focus since more of these means more damage. Try this for level 26 http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#5010cZhRbrk.1 You'll want to keep heading up the tree from this point until you get your level 40 talent and then go back and fill in the 5 / 5 in the other trees. At your current level, Zen and Slash 6 times until you get Blade Rush. Then Precision, Zen, BR 6 times. Transcendence I find most useful for PvP.
