Looking 2 buy new pc, could use some insight.

Hello all, i was hoping some of you that know alot about pc's would take there time 2 add there knowledge about how these systems would run swtor.

thx alot for taking your time 2 read.

 

atm i play on this old thing :-)

intel core 2 duo 2.0 ghz(T6400)

geforce 9600mgt

4 gb ram

so as you can see i could use a upgrade:-)

 

system 1.

Intel® Core™ i5-2430M-processor,

NVIDIA® GeForce® GT GT555M-grafikkort 1,024 MB RAM

8 GB

 

system 2.

Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM-processor,

NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 555M DirectX® 11-grafik 1,024 MB RAm

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX560M DirectX® 11-grafikkort 1.536 MB GDDR5-RAM

4 GB RAM

I would say any would work fine for the game but the 'best' one is the i7 with the GTX560. If it is in your budget that is the most powerful one.

FYI

I just upgraded a couple of systems in the last few weeks. Go with the best video card you can afford. RAM is extremely cheap right now. I got 16 GB of 1600mHz memory for around $80. Something else to think about is adding SSD. Hard disk prices are through the roof because of the damage to production facilities in Thailand. You might want to go SSD for boot disk and your game install and buy a large hard drive for storage later this year when the prices come down. The Corsair Force Series 3 SSD have come way down in price and have some of the fastest read/write times out there.

what kind off settings will the def systems run low, mid, high and what kind of fps could i expect from the def systems?
