Sandmanmr Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 when anikin goes to the dark side sidious says "to cheat death is a power only one has achived" is sidious referring to his own clones in Dark Empire he clones he died before but that canon states that was a lie. -is it Lord Vitiate -sidious' master did not really cheat death but it is commonly theorized in the expanded universe that he influenced midiclorians to birth anikin skywalker. Sidious was very clearly referring to his master, Darth Plagueis. Sidious was, however, lying, as he states in the same conversation that Plagueis taught him everything he had learned before his death, yet later tells Anakin that together they can learn how to cheat death.
