spityyy Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 Updating video card makes it better?I recently purchased a Asus - EAH5450 SILENT/DI/1GD3(LP) Radeon 5450 Graphic Card - 650 MHz Core - 1 GB DDR3 SDRAM - PCI Express 2.1Low-profile. I am trying to play star wars the old republic. the game looks alot better than my old card which is a nivida 8500. but its alot more laggy. will updating the drivers for the new card help? (my nivida ran a bit smoother after i updated it.) as i havent done that since i installed it yesterday.Or is there a better card I can get? this cost me $50 bucks and i rather not spend too much or not buy a new one at all. please help. thank you Additional Details:Ram 3CPU AMD phenom 9500 2.2 ghz quad corehard drive 300 gb free space Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
