Ranked Warzones?

With the PvP update coming out soon, would it be possible for an 8 man pre-made warzone que?

 

Would start to create some serious pvp especially with the stats in the next update.

Isn't ranked pvp aka arena's what ruined wow's pvp? (aside from the death of Wpvp)

is this going to be round 2 of win trading and cookie cutter class combos to get the best gear/titles/mounts you can only get with X tokens that you can only get from ranked matches.

Arenas at start in TBC was something new that actually opened up for competative gameplay in a MMO setting on a large scale.

Eventually the cookie cutter specs with limited choices to what classcombos you can pick etc were ofc unavoidable since it was just 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 in a setting where there is no other goal whatsoever but to gank the other team.

 

Not too far ago they released rated battlegrounds which didn't destroy PvP at all and became very popular, especially as guild runs.

Rated BG is so much more casual friendly compared to raiding where you are expected to come "prepared" with expensive food and consumables and that's why I think it is very popular.
