ZNICK
Since Rocket Punch and Retractable Blade are melee, therefore strength based, if we use them more than our ranged abilities (it's hard to tell which I use "most" really) should we be raising power and strength instead of aim? Power affects both melee AND ranged, and strength directly affects melee. Has anyone ever tested or thought about this? Z
badalchemist
Melee != "Strength-based". You still want Aim no matter what.
DarrkLore
Since Rocket Punch and Retractable Blade are melee, therefore strength based, if we use them more than our ranged abilities (it's hard to tell which I use "most" really) should we be raising power and strength instead of aim? Power affects both melee AND ranged, and strength directly affects melee. Strength affects melee for the classes that use Str as a primary stat (Sith Warrior, Jedi Knight). But Str doesn't really do Bounty Hunters any good. For us, Aim is our primary stat and it factors into all of our offensive abilities including our melee abilities. Power is helpful, but not as important as Aim. Edited January 4, 2012 by DarrkLore
zenoshi
Even if the skills are "melee type" attacks they are still consider Tech abilites which is factored by AIM as the primary buffing stat.
