Well, it can be configured with the single best GPU on the market, maxed with 16gb of Ram and an i7. Even though we're not sure which one yet, any i7 is good for gaming. Not to mention, the price is right. Although I'm positive it'll be closer to 2k after maxing it out, the ability to configure it the way u want already puts it ahead of Alienware. I'm sure it'll basically be a supped up HPE h8 with a fancier chassis, but it's nice to see HP trying reinvent themselves after Leo messed things up.
