Rosti
Good day, I'm currently playing on a low-end system (at least when referring to my graphics card) and am forced to have the game run in 640 × 480 screen resolution (via Program Compatibility settings) to avoid severe framerate drops. This makes the game look rather dull of course, but it doesn't really matter to me. I can see every object clearly and have no problems clicking on certain things. What is bothersome however is the way text behaves, it's very blurry and I often have to guess what my guild members are writing, even when I have font size set to maximum. Therefore I've been looking for ways to improve text clarity. If I could use a monospaced typeface like Courier, it might help. I can mention how I have configured client_settings.ini as well, perhaps someone can give me a tip on how I can configure the game to run in a higher resolution. Here are the settings: [Renderer] Height = 1024 Width = 1280 WindowX = 0 WindowY = 0 DynamicLightsLimit = 0 MeshLODQuality = 0 TextureAnisotropy = 0 FarClipScale = 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 PlantDensity = 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 D3DFullScreen = false NativeHeight = 1024 NativeWidth = 1280 doShadows = false doBlobShadows = false UseMinSpecShaders = true EnableBloom = false VerticalSyncState = false FullScreen = false TextureQuality = 1 AllowDepthOfField = false GammaRamp = 1.037854 SpeedTreeDistanceScale = 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 AntiAliasingLevel = 0 enableadvenvirolighting = false DebugAdvEnviroLighting = true Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to improve text clarity? Purchasing new hardware is not an option, as I cannot afford it. Thanks //Rosti
