DPS Skill Tree question

Hey, let's start off by me saying I'm not a hard core player, just play for the fun of it.

That being said, I have almost the same tree as you, I put the rest of my points in Target Lock and Weapon Calibration on Assault tree, and Field Training / Field Capacitor in Combat Medic. That finished off my points when I hit 50.

Everyone has something they might like more, just depends on what you like to play in the end you are the one paying for your account after all.

I'd swap the points from Concussive Force into Tenacious Defense. You'll get more use from TD.

For the rest of your points:

In the Combat Medic tree - 2 in Cell Capacitor and 3 in Field Training

In the Assault Specialist tree - 3 in Target Lock (Accuracy is a very important stat for Commandos!)

That leaves 2 points you can toss around. Advanced Tech or Steady Hands are good choices, or you could fill out Concussive Force if you really insist. I go with Advanced Tech.

The end result is this:

On a side note: Why you should avoid Weapons Calibrations. Alacrity seems like a good thing. But it isn't for gunnery Commandos (or merc tree Bounty Hunters). Heat management is our problem, and a talent which makes skills initiate faster just ends up forcing us to use our non-heat filler shot more often. I would avoid adding alacrity, if you can avoid it, and that means not putting points into a talent which adds more alacrity. There is a big argument already about the usefulness of alacrity and a bigger argument about how it affects Commandos. I would just avoid it for now.
