Halfabrain
i'm doing quests and the people i'm doing jobs for call me a mercenary call me a Bounty Hunter! I'm a powertech! /thatisall
Darth_Precursor
Yeah, I don't like that they call me a mercenary either, but you really want them to call you "Powetech?" "Ah, just the Powertech I was looking for!" Doesn't sound right. They should say Bounty Hunter.
BBriggs
"Ahh, just the hunter I was looking for!" "Ahh, just the bounty hunter I was looking for!" Either would be fine with me if I didn't have to be called mercenary. Edited January 2, 2012 by BBriggs
cdstephen
All bounty hunters are classified as mercenaries.

BBriggs
it helps if u understand what mercenary actually means. Mercenary: A professional soldier hired to fight for an army other than that of his or her country. Maybe they shouldn't have named the other AC mercenary? or instead of Bounty Hunter, call the class Mercenary? All BHs are mercenaries, I know. Thats why I don't believe that there should be a mercenary advanced class. They could've came up with a different name through out those years of development. Saggins
Game mechanics =/= story. They'll never call you a Powertech. This is likely the tradeoff for Mercenaries only using one of their pistols in every cut-scene.
Cerec
Yea, the problem is that "Mercenary" was a really bad choice for the name of the other advanced class. Anyone paid to fight is a mercenary.
chainsawsamurai
Do you perform military operations for money? If so, you're a Mercenary! Do you perform military operations for free? If so, you're a sucker! I'd rather be called a mercenary than a sucker. Sure it isn't your advanced class but you're going way, way out of your way to split hairs over this since it is the literal definition of the word. Rokkenrollah
My problem isnt being called a merc, its being called sir. Can they not see that I am a lady? They should really address me as ma'm and not as a sir. Even though I am a powerteched mercenary.
