  1. Gave up after 4 minutes of your video. It appears you utilised a total of 5 buttons there. No stunlock or kiting, no challenging encounters, nothing apart from zerging hapless nub emps who think charging an overdefended centre node is the way to win civil war.

Focus is fun. Not having tried vigilance, I can't say its better, but I sure as hell would never consider respeccing from focus into vigilance.

  2. Keep in mind some scenarios to consider.

The queue pops for 8 people on Republic so the game is ready to go. The timer in the game doesn't wait until every single person joins, before it ticks. 2 people were either afk, or for whatever reason did not accept the popup to enter the game. Time passes and they are are taken out of the queue. During this time, people are already in the game and good to go.

Now the queue looks for 2 other people. Maybe it takes a little time finding the next available person. When it finally does, that person may also wait before pressing the Enter Warzone button, or may also time out by not pressing it.

These are plausible reasons behind why the game starts without a full group. So blame those that aren't accepting the queues.

I am aware of that scenario - hence why I suggested to wait until the queue is 10-12.

  3. Damn, what is with people rolling out the NGE everytime a bad patch hits?

<Rage>NGE totally rewrote the core mechanics of the game and turned what was an utterly original MMO into a WoW clone. It destroyed crafting. It took the thousands of hours some gamers had put into developing excellence in their professions and placed a big steaming turd right on top of them. It instantly demolished the playerbase and turned most servers into ghosttowns within a month.</Rage>

Until Bioware does something like "remove all non-force using classes" or "remove all class questlines" or something as monumentally stupid as that (which theyre obviously not going to do!) please stop trolling with comparison to NGE.

  4. The number of buttons you have to press just to parse through this thread is redonkulous.

Surely anyone who entered this thread with the title (major spoilers) deserves to have the storyline spoiled for them. 40 redundant buttons per page to hide these spoilers is as idiot-tolerant as the warning "CAUTION: CONTENTS MAY BE HOT" on McDonalds Apple Pies.

And yeah, for relevance to the OP: The fight IS painful. It can only be done using one strategy that I'm aware of, and if you don't have that strategy, you're screwed. And I highly doubt that more than 20% of the JK population could have independently come up with that strategy.

  5. You won't be missed - unlike thousands of those who may and will unsubsribe after rollback.

Rollback will be last straw for many who tired of random duplicated crap from champion bags, buggy "win 3 warzone" daily which doesn't count winning, bugged PvE bosses who force groups to re-group and re-clean 1-3 hours long dungeons, etc. etc.

ROFL, this is as pathetic as it comes really.

"I have no empathy for your situation because Bioware decided to put raging nerfs in for minority factions on each server, yet if they dare to rollback the exploiting I've been doing over the past 24 hours, then I'll unsub. But not really."

None of you will unsub after rollback, because you all realise that what is going on now is even more stupid than Ilum PVP before the patch. I suspect that Bioware will care more about the majority of Republic players boycotting warzones, than those very few (if any) who cancel because their ill-gotten rank 60 was stripped.

  6. Who gives a toss if its an Ilum issue or a factional balance issue? What the devs did was take something that was broken, and make it even more messed up.

It's not the players fault that factional imbalance exists. It has existed in every MMO I've played since DAoC. MMO developers worth more than minimum wage should have prepared a solution to imbalance BEFORE releasing world PVP.

  7. (As I write this I'm sitting, fuming, waiting for my Call on the Force CD to kill my 3rd Sith Harrower)

Since level 30, the class quests have been a ******* joke. I enjoy a challenge. I don't think that quests that are mandatory for continuation through the levels should be nigh on bloody impossible except to those who have perfect gear, perfect spec, and a <50ms ping so they can effectively interrupts the numerous elite NPCs with CHANNELLED ******* SPELLS.

  8. Well you're all clearly *********** heroes.

15-20 times (I honestly lost count) and I gave up and called a L50 friend in to destroy it for me.

Not possible with a 250ms ping. Interrupts on the force lightning took too long - even when I nailed the interrupt perfectly I lost a large chunk of health because the intterupt didn't go through until the channelling was 3/4ths over.
