My suggestion is to get real customer service agents, people who actually understand what service is.
Also, that when a customer offers an agent in live chat a suggestion, that the agent actually forward it on to the appropriate people instead of taking the lazy route like S7-o0 and telling the customer to go to the forums.
So, my suggestion is to actually get CSR's that understand that the S means service.

just want to thank everyone for their brutally honest opinions, that sheds light on my issue. i was able in fact to defeat the class mission on my own, i used youtube to find the specific mission, watched it and gathered the correct info to defeat the boss.
please explain to me how one finds "INGAME" friends when most of the time we are, according to ALL of you, SOLOING?
finding a guild on The Fatman server? it isnt very easy, i have tried using these forums to no avail. i have even sat around on the fleet and asked in general chat, only to get verbally trashed by the most wonderful people in the world there. so tell me, HOW does one find a mature (and that is a stretch) guild? do they even exist?
I am glad you were able to defeat the encounter, I do not know you exact situation as I play on Kaiburr Crystal and am in a decent guild there. I also am not worried about finding in game friends as I also play with my GF. As far as the guild goes, most in it are mature, with a few easy to tune out exceptions.

The OP has outfitted the most interesting companion he has available IMO, the one that the class story basically centered around... and most likely has no desire to use Quinn (story reasons or perhaps the fact that he is just generally boring).
Asking for help in a MMO shouldn't be a bad thing. As far as people asking for pay, they are basically advertising themselves to be put on ignore and really are not the type of people you want to group with anyways.
My advise, respec to tank, not DPS and use some com's or something to get Quinn up to par, doing that and learning the final encounter should make it easy enough to solo, even at a level low.

any player that quits a PVP match should be given a 60 minute debuff to prevent them from queing for any warzones.
To see people leave the same match multiple times is not fair to the players involved and trying to win.

Please, a nice long debuff for quitting a warzone. Not just for the rated ones that is currently planned, but all of them.

What absolute nonsense.
EQ2 is F2P at the moment and has a great community.
It is also misleading and garbage, started that in the month between this release and my cancelled account in my last real mmo, leveled a toon to about 15 before they froze it and said I had to buy the class and race to continue playing, there was no warning that the class and race were restricted or cost money. At least Age of Conan was up front that anything that looked remotely interesting cost money to unlock.

If you were a ret pally in a raid setting trying to offheal and do a "little bit of everything" you were doing it wrong. Ret in a raid is a dps class. Let the healers heal, let the tanks tank and you go Pew Pew. It's no wonder you didn't like dps meters.
In WoW, a pally is a hybrid because they can spec to heal, to tank, or to DPS. Even a Prot Pally can do damage and heal. Hybrid doesn't mean you are supposed to be a jack of all trades in an instance. =\
Actually, for the first two years it pretty much did, the Ret pally could not do DPS worth anything. The failure to adapt to the new model from BC on however can't be explained.

PST and have no issue with the servers going down when they do. I understand that to keep things running smoothly they need to bring the servers down for patching and general maintenance. Oh, and yes I am also impacted by this as my play time extends till 2am to 3am most nights.
Also, they do bring the servers down when it impacts the LEAST amount of people.

SWG crafting was really involved, the standard of what MMO crafting should be.
Oh, and when I played it at least, in the first two years of it life, crafting actually mattered and people knew who the best on the server were. Crafting in WoW was just annoying. Here its better than WoW, but its not nearly as involved as SWG, but its two different types of MMO's.

The one thing I would truly like to see is more Lekku customization, straight down the back is very boring.

In the past several years my GF and I quit WoW because of the horrible community that remained. Rift was ok, and we might even still be playing it if this game hadn't been released. LOTRO was a complete snoozefest.
GF can't could not care less about Star Wars, she loves this game. The depth that a real story adds to a game has her looking forward to logging in to an MMO again, something that she hasn't done in ages.

I would like to see this added, mainly because a few days after we started something was done that changed the appearance of my girlfriends twi'lek, the headband that she selected was removed and BIOWARE has refused to address the situation. Adding a barbershop feature would allow her to at least fix what they have yet to do.

I understand that EGA is a plus they didn't have to throw in, so I can't be mad at BW. I don't agree with how they are doing it, though. Either the servers can handle the load or they cannot. These people have a very large group of people wasting their time watching for emails in anticipation.
At the very least I wish they would at least release projected times they expect to have certain pre-order dates in EGA by.At least a best guess based on best case scenario. That way there would be no need to watch email like a hawk during wave times if we aren't ecpected to get in that day.
Just a thought. If they are so worried about overtaxing the servers now with just preorders, how are they going to do when full release is out?
and that is the peoples choice, not BW's. The way they are doing it is a better way to evenly disperse the people onto the servers.

The "waves" are based on number of people and when.
Now that the first few days have passed more "days" will be coming in on each "wave."
If people simply were to think logically once in a while, there would be a lot less QQ.
