  1. When will we be able to save our decorated strongholds to a template or "loadout"? For example, if I have a decorated Yavin Stronghold on server A then decide to transfer to server B, I would love to unpack that Yavin Stronghold template that I saved on server A on server B by clicking a button. Saving your decorated stronghold to a template should be a QoL feature that should be implemented to the game.

  2. The Master mode flashpoint regarding group finder is active however whenever people get flashpoints such as Objective Meridian, Spirit of vengeance, ruins of null, Nathema, a traitor among the chiss, groups tend to leave individuals get locked behind a 10minute window and forced to wait even longer if they stay.

i am not saying remove them, because you guys put a lot of time into them however it's clear that nobody wants to do them yet were forced to do because of the weekly, I propose, if at all possible, to allow one to select certain flashpoints that they want to do, and it still count towards the weekly

Yes, this will bring about the spam station but certain people Quing for the weekly then leaving when they get a flashpoint, they don't want to is affecting those that yes don't like it but want to farm the gear but don't have guildies or friends to jump on with to carry them through

BioWare has better things to do then to address game-play issues like making a new forum for the 10 people who actually use it.

  3. I figured you guys would have jumped all over this seeing how they received a rather good representation and screen time on the Fett series.

You guys picked up on those lightsabers with the side blow holes rather quickly so I expect some Gamorean guards in some of your upcoming cartel packs.

    Thanks.

If I made any typos or misspellings its because I could not find Gamorean in the dictionary

There are some already. You can use the Cantina Bouncer, a "Gamorrean guard", in the Cantina Performers Personnel Bundle.

  4. lol you'll need a lawyer if you wanna go that route. i'm sure they have their own that will point to the eula and tos

edit: btw you still have them (accessable) don't you? "my job here is done." i mean you just can't use them they way YOU want but they aren't preventing you from them completely

Clearly, you don't know what the FTC is. You don't need a lawyer. It's literally filing a report where the government looks at consumer rights violations. This was done years ago during the server merges when BioWare announced the highest collections count on a legacy will be kept while your other legacies items with the lower counts will be deleted. Guess what? Both legacy items were combined and the player-base won.

  5. How come there isn't a feature to save your current Stronghold look (hook layouts and decorations used on the hooks)? Would love to see a feature to save a template or you can call it a loadout so if we transfer servers, we can immediately setup our strongholds on the new server with a click of a button. Also, to use with guild strongholds and ships.
  6. Can we get refunds for the Cartel Weapons we purchased? Literally, we can't use any of them. You had them for sale because they were modable and we were able to upgrade them to current tier level. Now we can not. So now we have useless items that we bought because you took away a system that blocks us from using it. Not only that, then you told us that sometime in near the future we will be able to use the Cartel Market weapons again that we purchased through a "Weapons Outfitter."

This is a clear violation of Consumer Rights laws in the United States and I encourage people to report this to the Federal Trade Commission. https://www.ftc.gov/

  7. This has to be the worst thing to ever happen to SWTOR. I guess BioWare trying to dumb down the game somehow will make players sub to a crappy overhauled combat system. This is exactly what Sony Online Entertainment did with Star Wars: Galaxies, which eventually caused the game to shut down.
  8. Hello everyone!

It’s been about a year since my debut here on the forums, but for anyone unsure of what aspects of Community I help run, here’s a quick list of things that I handle on the back end of things.

    • Website publishing and management. I’m the main driving force behind a majority of the articles and various website updates that happen.
    • Creating assets used for Community/Marketing. The Alderaan trailer for Game Update 6.1 and the images used for the recent Cartel Market article are some good examples of this.
    • Running the Content Creator program and working with everyone in that group.
    • Social media posting on all the different platforms.

With Musco’s upcoming journey into fatherhood, expect to see more of me here on the forums! The next few weeks will be a transitionary period, so thank you for your patience as we get properly adjusted to dividing everything Musco managed both here and behind the scenes.

If you manage the website you also must manage the hosting environment server side. The forums clearly do not have a Secure Socket Layer (SSL). No encryption for data is being applied thus making this forum not secure. However, the login page has an SSL, which is good.

  9. SWG dumbed down the game and looked what happened with that game. SWTOR is doing the same thing. Also, look at it now. Non-profitable game, very low population, server merges and rumors of a game shut down. Now new news came out saying Disney/Lucasfilm are going to be dropping EA and are in talks with Ubisoft and Activision. SWTOR is officially a ghost ship.
  10. People are loosing tonnes of games because enemie stealther waits in stealth up to the end and WINS the fight thanks to dirty tricks. Stealthers in this game have much advantages over other specs during acid. Sins are staying on mid in stealth and waiting until poison hits, they use vanish in perfect time which allows them to stay on mid more, and then they loss (kite) enemie team on other side with overcharged saber and saber reflect. Some dirty tricks are used by opers (same with vanish and utility on it) and mass blind. They also change from dps stim to endurance stim in critical moment to get more hp, changing gear right during the fight for more endurance stats. One player musnt be able to win 2/4 or 3/4 players...this is nonsense. Thats why WOW has stealth detectors on arena which appear after some time have passed.

I told devs, and sent tonnes of screen shots where stealthers are winning against 2-4 enemies. This game isnt supposed to be about fighting against unknown tactics (and 80% of players DONT KNOW HOW TO FIGHT IT CORRECT) and luck in arena. Cunning, tricky operatives or the lucky one can win a fight with acid. What sense to queue then?

    What?

  11. Hey guys I was wondering if you could give me some advice on wether you think this cheap gaming rig I found will play well on swtor.

    The specifications are here

    Processor: Intel 3.0 ghz

    Ram 8gb

    Graphics card Nvidia GT 730

Ive had a look at the recommended systems requirements of the game but just thought id ask for some other opinions.

    Thanks in advance!

SWTOR can run on an Etch A Sketch.

  12. You said SWTOR lost the million. Countless others said it lost less than 1 million. In fact, the total loss by the entire company on subs was less than 1 million.

    < < 1 million is:

    < 1 million

They lost some money, on one quarter.

Companies do that *all the time*. And the next year, they make more than the same quarter the prior year. Revenue charts are rarely a line going only one way, or another.

I choose to believe that revenues will rise this year. Server costs were reduced. Development costs were reduced. As long as a few of us continue to pay for the game, those servers will remain.

When Anthem drops in 2019, we may see new content here, as developers move back to this project.

None of this is shocking to anyone. Anyone up for an OP? PM me, and I'll meet you in game.

You're basing your assumptions on Anthem doing good. Anthem is the make or break for the studio. I agree, if Anthem succeeds, then maybe a little more focus will come this way. But again, we are talking about EA. If Anthem does well, EA might just completely focus on that game. If Anthem fails, well, BioWare is probably done.

  13. No. Your own link proves you wrong.

These increases are partially offset by a $1 million decrease in subscription net revenue PRIMARILY due to Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Please take your argument on this topic elsewhere. It is neither constructive nor accurate. All it does is make people more resilient to changing the system and takes the thread off topic from the perks of changing the model.

Yes, I am correct. net loss in sub revenue. Your point? I am not sure why you even quoted me when you just proved I was correct, again.
