  1. I can usually manage to get it by blowing heroic moment + unity before I activate the gas +healing companion, but just barely, I've died just as I finished the last panel more than once, I'd recommend bringing a partner if you don't want to get too frustrated.
  2. The funniest thing to me was watching all the hardcore pvp'ers complain about how many casuals were invading their pvp matches

"It's snow/grass, not east and west, which one is east? *** is wrong with you guys" etc

As a mainly pve'er it was somewhat annoying, 20 felt like a lot of matches, 10 would feel like a better number to me, but it definitely wasn't undoable or anything like that.

  3. I've contacted them twice about it, only get

I'm pretty sure you're right that it was because I leveled warrior prior to achievements being put in the game, I don't want to keep bugging the GM's, but really not sure what else to do.

  4. Just trying to figure out if I need to level sith warrior a second time. I've gotten through chapter 3 on every class, on my legacy page it shows all companions unlocked chapter 3 heroic ability unlocked etc, but on the actual planet/chapter achievement page everything related with sith warrior is marked incomplete (planets, level, chapters etc). GM's pretty much said it's a bug and I'm out of luck unless it gets fixed, I don't care too much about the achievement itself, but I do care about the legendary status once 4.0 hits.
  5. 1. ratio of tanks to healers to dps will not change.

    2. with 12 story quest xp - people are skipping lower level flashpoints all together, becasue personal story with complimentary xp boosts you get for completing each planet and guild boost? actualy keeps you just above intended planetary level as it is. so again, cross server will do NOTHING to fix that.

I'm so tired of people thinking of cross server as some sort of magical panacea. it doesn't even work all that well in WoW anymore, considering that there are people complaining about waiting in queue for hours THERE.

It won't do much to the queue's on high pop servers, but it absolutely fixes low pop server issues. I sat in queue for ~2 hours or so without a pop a few nights ago on prophecy of the five, got nothing. Transferred my character to a higher pop server this morning, got a pop within 10 minutes.

  6. Now that you mention it, the matrix cube crystals do kinda throw a wrench into the works. I'm not certain if the cube is unique or if it has a level requirement, but both criteria would be an easy fix and allow even those matrix cube bits to be legacy bound.

I'm pretty sure they have a level requirement to equip

  7. Getting to many of the datacrons are stupid jumping "puzzles" that have no place in any well designed game. I only really want to go through the annoyance once.

As such, I would argue that the stat bonuses/shards *especially* should be legacy wide (though still restricted so you don't get cross faction ones). However I WOULD argue it should be gated by level.

P.S. Other than the Datacron in the Heroic area on Voss, the ones on Ilum (which are all supposedly easy, I'm just saving Ilum until the exp cap goes up) and the ones on fleet, I've actually gotten all of them at least once. So it's not like I can't get them. I just find many of them annoying. 'Course, I don't think there IS such a thing as a good jumping puzzle. If the entire platformer genre curled up and died it would be a great day for gaming.

That's where I'm at as well, got the majority on the imperial side and getting them as I go while leveling my repub alt. I don't mind getting them once, its kind of cool, but 8 times is just trdious

  8. I've also worked at CS for a couple of companies, ISPs, banks, insurance companies, cable television, etc. I've never been allowed to research anything. In fact responses by email and phone were always monitored on "efficiency", you get a bonus if you deal with them in the shortest amount of time. I don't know about BW's ticket system, but the emails I got from them on my ticket have always been copy paste, and the three times I called them I also noticed they were on a time constraint, one call was taken serious enough to be put through to someone at a higher level who clearly wasn't on a time constraint.

I worked at customer service as well. We didn't have copy paste since mine was via telephone, but we did have lists of talking points, and a certain format we were supposed to follow for every call. When I was promoted to trainer they had me write out scripts for responses to commonly asked questions.

  9. I'm not sure why so many people are against something that they don't have to use. I for one miss having addons, just for quality of life improvements. Addon makers can customize things much more effectively than bioware can because they dont have to take into account how the entire community feels about a change. I like having all of my debuffs and buffs listed with big bars in the middle of my screen, someone else may not want them to show up at all because it ruins Immersion. Mods can make us both happy, but for bioware to add internal support for every option players might want would take up way too much development time and use up too many resources.
  10. I just received an answer to my ticket that I opened three days ago, requesting info on implementation of SGRs. The answer I got is in german, but I'll try to translate to the best of my abilities.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you very much for your request for more information regarding SGR implementation.

We are still very much engaged implementing extensive (sic!) SGR content into Star Wars: The Old Republic.

As Daniel Erickson said during the guild summit, our writers are already working on content for SGR, yet at this point we can't give you any definitive info on when they will be implemented. We would still like to let you know that this content will be implemented with a future update together with story content.

If you would like to engage in more discussion on this topic, you may join this thread in our forums [... he refers me to this thread here...]

Thanks for your interest in Bioware and this game, we appreciate all our fans and are proud to have such a tolerant and diverse community.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact us again.

    Regards,

    *name of customer service rep*

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thoughts? I know it's not much, but so much better than nothing. And by referring to this thread here, it kind of gives me confidence that they do read here and know what we're up to, even if they're not posting much.

And the fact that it took them three days to answer my ticket makes me hopeful the CS rep didn't just copy and paste some old info but really researched for his answer and (hopefully) made sure the info he gave was correct.

I hate to break it to you, but 3 days isn't quick. Most of the GM tickets I've opened since f2p launched have taken 1-2 weeks to get a response.

  11. sgr was never in the product description. Remember that CE Vendor updates were part of the promotional articles as well as hood-down armor sets. Wouldn't it be more fair to deliver such things first?

Just because it wasn't listed on the box doesn't mean it wasn't promised by the devs pre launch.
