Right around those levels it gets hard as **** to solo golds. You haven't hit that final stretch where you get your max rank shots so you can' t burn things down as fast as you otherwise would. Just survive until ~48 and you'll be back in balance.

 

This is great to hear. I just hit Voss last night and it felt like a was hitting a brick wall. I was also thinking it was something I was doing wrong.
