  1. Hello.

    I have a problem is that when they'm on screen character selection and select my sith burden alone third and no longer advances more (what you charge more than an hour and nothing) I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, changing settings Game, deleting files as they said in a forum unresolved. with the other characters I can enter without any problem.

     

    Help!!

     

    I think you're in the wrong forum buddy. Unless you're suggesting they fix your character you may want to post here.

    • 55 Hardmode bosses still drop Elite comms
    • 60 Hardmode bosses only drop basic comms
    • Can no longer Queue for 50 or 55 flashpoints at 60...
    • CZ-198 weekly requires the two 55 FPs... at 60 you can't Q for them, so you have to form an HM group manually or do the lame tactical version.
    • If you don't buy the xpac and run 55 HMs: You cannot spend the elite comms because they are for level 60 gear.
    • I wanted more content on top of the existing content. The 55HMs are still relevant imo. Opening up the 55 HMs to 55-60 would have been a better course of action. What were they(BW) thinking?

  2. Can't kill *****... ZZZZZ time to quit playing until I find a match that isn't premade. Makes it un-fun for solo players. BIo please tone down the tank/healer handcuff please.

     

    Is there anything at all that you are not on this forum complaining about? At this point I imagine Bioware having a forum filter with your name on it.

     

    Premades are fine, L2Cope. Tank\Healer combos are fine, learn how to split and focus.

     

    If they capped the node 1st... thats your fault, not theirs.

  3. There's no question that a willpower stim serves sorcs better than endurance stims.

    However, stims don't make THAT big of a difference, so he wasn't truly gimping himself by using the wrong stim.

     

    Endurance is a waste for a Sorc, regardless of spec\tree. If you're equipping a stim it should be based on your main stat, unless you are a tank.

     

    A stim is a near equivalent to another piece of gear.

    Getting all of your Datacrons are a near equivalent to another piece of gear.

     

    imo: just as you equip PVP gear to be competitive, stims and Datacrons are a stat boost and you should use them.

  4. Mercenaries get a small (presumably, never noticed where the additional DPS from Superheated rail comes into play) DPS nerf and the ability to get off their rotation a bit easier when focused down. Thought?

     

    Personally, I see this as a token change, as PS doesn't come up all that often and even then it's 6 seconds - one rotation and that's it. Had they provided us with a 6 second stun/interrupt/pushback immunity, the change would boost Merc survivability by a noticable degree. Like this...meh.

     

    Anyway, discuss, if there's anything to discuss :).

     

    Power Surge will be better in PVP as a Bodyguard. Its not a noticeable buff, but its not cool to get stun/interrupt/pushback trying to get that big instant heal off.

  5. just get the 66 gear all purple, think it's 156, very easy to get...and no one will even know you not full obroan....if you full auged...prob can do ranked decent too...I wouldn't like to see that just sayin.

     

    learn how to use bolster to your advantage....

     

    sure there even better mix than that.

     

    Wrong answer. Use Makeb 58s, Classic Comms gear, or blue 66s. There are combinations you can use, but don't bother.

  6. Hi so tried out the new balance-shadow changes this morning and looks good from the small time I tried so far, but not the point. It seems that if I apply my DoTs and then die, I remain in combat on res, and remain that way until (I'm assuming this is what it is anyways) my DoTs wear off. Never experienced this in pvp before this patch, and can be frustrating for a stealth-class. Working as intended? Bug? Or just me?

  7. Its a mechanic to keep people playing the game. You prevent people from having enough comms when the new tier comes out so they have to spend a lot of time getting them.

     

    If the new tier came out, and everyone had all their comms banked, they would just buy the set outright, and since the difference between tiers is so tiny, most people would most likely burn out, after the quick rush of having new gear, and higher hits, and then nothing to look forward too for the next 6 months.

     

    The way they are doing it now, it would keep more people playing longer. Best to keep the carrot on the stick, then just feeding the mule outright. The grind is and always will be a mechanic to ration the rewards for effort, and ensures very few, have all the new rewards right at the release of new content.

     

    This is the lamest way to keep a player base content.

     

    Content and features keep people playing, not false barriers to slow progress. If you had a 1k cap or a 1mil cap, you still have to PVP to get the comms. So, its a problem that a new set comes out and players can afford it? They still worked for it.

     

    So, I have fully optimized Brutalizer.... I have nothing to grind, I still PVP because thats the fun part. I do not PVP to because theres a carrot on a stick.

     

    Don't enable a bad practice on a broken mechanic.

  8. Anyone complaining about how this "takes away from their gaming experience" is ridiculous.

     

    You're the ones playing the system and juggling items so you can get a full set of Obroan when you hit 55. If that prevents you from getting immersed in the game and doesn't allow you to do certain things (like flashpoints as someone said) it's your own fault lol.

     

    No one is making you juggle items. While do I see WHY you do this, the commendation caps (even the PvE ones) are there to prevent people from doing what you're doing. If you've found a way to play the system and get around the cap, great, but don't complain about it.

     

    If the cap gets raised for argument sake to 15000, I GUARANTEE people will still hit the cap, start juggling items so they don't loss comms and then hit the forums again saying the cap is too low.

     

    I have a big empty ship... how big are those commendations? unlimited commendations sounds like the best route. Who cares if someone banks 54,000 commendations? They still PVPed to get them.

  9. Am I right, that that is what I need to collect (and swap around) before hitting 55 to get the full starter set?

     

    My calculations are:

    12475 comms for the whole set / 900 per weapon = 13.86.

     

    Considering that this is possible in the game with regular mechanics and the well-known-way-around-the-cap... isn't it totally retarded to not increase the cap to at least these 12475 comms and improve the gaming experience for all who want to do pvp at 55? It is not really a lot of work, just a lot of pain in the a*se to not be able to calmly quest while waiting for the queue to pop. ;)

     

    Well at least this way I can probably manage to grab the set AND have some remaining comms to trade for ranked. *shrugs*

     

     

    You are right. This would encourage the lower tiers into PVPing more and make PVP at 55 a more enjoyable and less of a disaster at 55.

     

    There is no gear progression in PVP, its just a useless reset. The comm cap is another speed bump BW uses to try and keep people playing... but bolster was put in to make it fair? The bolster system at 55 in PVP is still a pos when they queue in with raid gear. Toons with 1500 expertise from wearing pve gear get destroyed... making it miserable for them and their team-mates.

     

    Increasing the comm cap would alleviate these issues, but its probably too technically difficult to implement. Numbers are hard.

  10. i can agree about the other wz...should have a boost like in AH, like if you hold a node for some time it does more damage. but i'd leave huttball the same..a come back is possible there even from 4-0 and in the given time

     

    Nope. This would prevent comebacks in Nov Coast and Ald. If a team starts with less or some drop for whatever reason, there is no recovery.

     

    Overall: This thread should be deleted.

  11. I've seen some things I couldn't understand. Like yesterday in Voidstar. All the medals were normal (12-14 for the top), but there was one guy with 27 medals! I looks at the medals he had gotten and several were given for an "under 3 minute win", but we didn't win in under 3 minutes. I should have gotten a screenshot, but I didn't.

     

    Did he come in late as a backfill?
