  1. So let me get this straight.

    1. You closed your guild ship and didn't know it would cost 50 million credits to open again.

    2. Your guild is basically dead, no real active players.

    3. You don't know who the GM is who purchased said ship.

    4. You inherited this guild for whatever reason since you were not the one who created it or purchased the ship.

    5. You weren't involved in working to contribute credits to the guild to purchase the ship originally.

Does that seem about correct? Sounds like you want a free guild ship without ever putting in the work to buy it. Grind away, grind away and earn the money and reopen it or join a guild that has a ship already.

Dude, who do you think you are? I really hope you inherit a house from your parents when they die, and then the bank forecloses on it, and you dont know who the company who first built the house was, and you get kicked to the street.

That's pretty much what's happening here. Maybe you can understand those terms instead of being so pretentious.

  2. So my suspension email stated I would have all commendations and currency reset on all characters

That is a separate argument to be had however, I also had the following items removed not specified in my suspension email

    - 100% of my grade 6 gifts on all characters regardless of the fact that most were legitimately earned

    - My Legacy Gree Main Hand which was augmented and full 224 gear (not sure how or why this was removed as I have had this item since before xpac

    - Both of my Legacy Gree focus offhands, one of which had full 224 another had full 208 pvp gear

    - My Gree saber mainhand with all 224 modifications,

    - My Gree Sniper Rifle with all modifciations

    - 100% of my gree helix earned through the Xeno operation on 5 characters this week

It is of note that all my Gree items and hear have been on my account for over 1 year, so not only did you just standard remove any all items purchasable with gree helix, but you destroyed all items contained within them.

Care to comment Bioware on when you will restore my items and fix this and why this was not mentioned in the suspension action email?

When will bioware restore these items for me since they were not specified in my suspension communication andhad nothing whatsoever to do with this exploit, you literally destroyed my gear, I cant even do ops or pvp now because you destroyed critical gear pieces non related to this exploit.

Really? Cry more kid, you exploited to gain a time advantage against others. EA just rolled back the clock on you, a very fitting punishment. Enjoy it. I'm glad you were not banned so I could see this post. Hopefully you'll think twice next time you try to get an advantage on others.

  3. Why do people think they should have the right to solo content tagged at 2+ and Heroic in nature? Bioware is finally adding back a challenge to a game that was Operation: Companion Keyboard Faceroll for about a week.

Go spend a week and finish the story on another class and unlock an extra heroic movement. Find some friends to play with and do the content with. The basis of the missions are TWO OR MORE PEOPLE. It's not called [Heroic 1+Companion].

Sorry you cant just DPS Speed burn through everything coming at you now, and you actually have to use the utility your classes have to pass competency checks.

    :ph_thank_you:

  4. Hey folks,

The issues that many of you were experiencing when making a start at 60 character should now be resolved. We will be restoring the start at 60 token to the Cartel Market shortly. There are multiple different scenarios that your character and start at 60 tokens could be in, I want to cover each of them and what it means for you.

    • I made a start at 60 character, but instead it created a level 1 character and put me on the fleet. I then deleted that character, but my start at 60 token was not restored.
      • You should now see your tokens restored to you when you are at Character select. You can create a level 60 normally now.

    • I made a start at 60 character, but instead it created a level 1 character and put me on the fleet. I did not yet delete that character.
      • If you delete that character, your start at 60 token will be restored to you automatically and you can create your level 60 normally now.

If you still feel you are missing tokens, please contact CS. Thank you all for your patience as we worked through this issue.

I had a token pending in my Unclaimed Cartel items, and it was not restored. Thats 2,000 Cartel Coins i'm currently out. Put in a customer service ticket, but just wanted to make you aware of another situation you might need to look at for mass refunds.

  5. SWTOR, unlike most other games or programs, will use the way Windows breaks numbers with a . or a ,. This becomes an issue when sorting item on the GTN by price because a high priced item can be listed in one of two ways.

One Million, Three hundred Thirty Three Thousand, Three Hundred and Thirty Three can show up as:

    1,333,333

    OR

    1.333.333

If you use commas to break your numbers, you're absolutely fine. If you use a decimal point to break the numbers, then when you sort by price, the 1.333.333 is going to show up as the CHEAPEST option, when it absolutely not.

I got this to work on Windows 8.1, looking if someone can confirm this is a bug on Win10 or Win7.

  6. in your prefences

click on the key bind tab on teh bottom,

scroll down and choose a quick box (2-6)

selct your key bind, and then move wanted ability into that spot

I currently have MAin QB and QB3 bound to control

i can bind shift+1, shift+2 etc, but not number pad #'s in conjunction with shift

  7. I think it helps in that you can't get RMTs in here and trading a ton of stuff between their accounts. A big problem that was seen in Guild Wars were people getting their accounts hacked and the stuff stripped out and sent to accounts owned by RMTs. Preventing trading won't stop scamming, but at least it makes it less easy for scum to come in a ruin the game even further.

    BJ

True F2P Scammers just list the things they stole on the GTN for like 100 credits and buy them with the main account, so its trackable but would take looking into on EA's side, and we know how their customer service is.

  8. Exactly, and better put than what I was trying to say.

There is nothing special about quickbar #1, other than it is the location the cover bar takes. The designation as being quickbar #1 is completey arbitrary in every single way other than it being where the cover bar goes (it has no other significance). You can move it anywhere, and put any abilities you want on it, and keybind any keys to whatever position you want (same with all the other bars as well). Bar #1 doesn't have to be the "Main" one you use for your nomral abilities.

I think the OP is stuck thinking that the bar #1 is somehow special in some other way.

It is. I target with right click due to doing it with every other MMO for years, and targeting with right click automatically uses whatever skill you have in Quickbar1 slot1. That is why i'm trying to not use Quickbar1, because I'll end up using whatever skill is in the 1st slot, and not having that slot filled is one less skill I can quickbar to. So yes, it is special in a way thats very annoying to anyone who right clicks to target.

  9. With the ability to completely customize the UI, it's bar #1 in name only. It really means nothing.

You can completely rebind which key corresponds with each quickbar slot, and you can move them around.

Actually, UI Bar #1 is called the 'main' bar, and it defaults to the bar your 'cover quickbar' appears on when you take cover. I'm wondering if there is any way to change where that cover quickbar appears at

  10. Lets get a list going of things that are happening. Things Bioware needs to figure out how to monitor or move to server side.

    -Speed Hacking

People are moving at 5-6x regular speeds, even with the huttball. Really need to fix this

    -100% Resolve all the time

People are 100% immune to CC, pair this with speed hacking and you've got a 3 minute hutt ball game

These are the two big ones I've seen. Anyone else stumble across any others?

  11. Go and test this on your Vanguards.

After the second tick of damage, just move and break the channel. The third tick of damage will still happen, because the channel has actually already completed. The animation is still catching up, but you can cancel the animation without any penalties.

I do this all the time in PvP, its just an animation thing, not an actual mechanics thing.

Good to know, i'll be trying this later
