This is something that was brought up during the guild summit, and it is extremely disappointing that a year later its still isn't in.

Maybe they like to turn with the keys, and use the mouse for clicking powers?
=)
And my point is proven. People who do this, are bad. No discussion. Bad. B-A-D. Bad.
-
Make better players. Set default strafe to A and D. Teach them how to turn with their mouse.

On a side note, I was having some serious stuttering issues with nameplates showing that made raiding with them on unplayable or running around the fleet. Disabling SLI fixed this issue and there is no more stuttering with nameplates.

Absolutely a great read and review. Some really good suggestions. The gear thing is a little over the top, you understand it if you've raided before. But otherwise good post!

Would be really nice to have an increased number of guild ranks. For our guild in particular, we do need more than the 10 ranks because of the different activities. I can't imagine how these "invite anybody" and RP guilds handle only 10 ranks.
Here's our breakdown
1 - Guildmaster
2 - Sith Council (Co-GMs)
3 - Sith Master (Officers)
4 - Dark Warlord (PVP Officers)
5 - Dark Enforcer (PVP Member)
6 - Shadow Hand (Core Raider)
7 - Sith Saber (Regular Raider)
8 - Sith Soldier (Guild Friend, no promised spots to anything)
9 - Adept Recruit (Trial)
10 - Alt
11 - Dingus - When you do something stupid, this is what you get.
12 - Super Dingus - When you do something REALLY stupid, this is what you get.
13 - Officer Alt - officer privileges on alts
The red ones are ranks we use to have before we expanded to PVP with a PVP officer. Sure, its just vanity and an inconvenience, but its one of those QOL things

At first they posted too much information, and when they didn't deliver just right, they got flamed. Now they post too little information and what do you know, people are flaming You can't win....

A gear check does not mean that you have to have the best gear in the game to run an flashpoint. There is a minimum recommended item level of gear that ensures you're not going to be banging your head up against a wall. In raids you can have 1 or 2 bad people carried by 1 or 2 exceptional players. The gear score is to cover the former - sub par player.
But really, baddies gonna be bad. I really don't think you need a gearcheck on the leveling instances, or SM's for that matter. But once you move into HM's, yes there should be something that says "We recommend at least X Gear Level"
and
If you are doing progression level content I wouldn't suggest using the group finder at all. Sure fail in most cases.^ This

No offense, but I think "Chat Bubbles" is the least of their worries...I doubt anyone is quitting the game because they haven't implemented chat bubbles...

BW has already made a statement telling everyone to suck it up & wait 5 months.
this. It's sad there's no communication from the Devs anymore. And if it is, it's always "WHAT DID YOU SAY?! DEFENSIVE DEFENSIVE DEFENSIVE blah blah blah." They're really listening to the community, can't you tell?
It's a little disappointing having gone to the guild summit in march, having them promise all these awesome things and stuff to look forward to, but it was all implemented completely wrong or in the case of rated warzones, just removed.
But alas, I'm sure i'll be hanging in there for the day when 6 low pop servers get merged to one and we can start recruiting for raiding again.

KP has been extremely buggy tonight after boss wipes. Only bosses not giving us issues was Bonethrasher and Jarg and Sorno.
Foreman Crusher
- Boss disappeared after wipe, forcefield never goes back down and instance needs to be reset.
- Second time we wiped on him, encounter reset, adds respawned, but Foreman crusher never respawned.
Heavy Fabricator
- After wipe, boss despawned and never came back. Had to reset instance.
- Second attempt we dropped fire on right side, then solved on left next, but the activate button never lit up for second drop.
We ended the night there in frustration and it being too late. This instance has, for the most part, been flawless pre 1.2, and this is the first time that we really have been in here since.

Just to be more clear. The reason I was getting a cooldown on accepting a revive is that we are working on progression, and with progression comes wipes. With a normal medical probe revive, i can completely understand why there's an increasing timer on being able to revive yourself. But, if someone else revives you, why is there a cooldown on that, whether its a normal revive, or more importantly, a battle revive?
Really in stunted progression, however small of a way, because I had a 2:13 timer before I could accept a battle revive.
-
Just kind of curious why there is a Accept CD for combat res. Kind of defeats the purpose of it if i have to wait 2 minutes to accept while we're in mid fight.

is there any way u can do about norton antivirus ? it keep saying virus and quarantine
this, not syncing with other people as well now.
-
Feels like we wasted 30+ minutes running back from working on Firebrand and Stormcaller HM ><
-
They also completely are wasting anyone's time who gets pulled into a match late. I did everything I could to help the match out, include throwing the ball the the person who went ahead and scored. Nada.
It's just sad what they did to the PVPers. A lot of pvp guilds are leaving, and ultimately Bioware is reaping what they sow.
-
There's no excuse for anyone to not be 50. I don't want to hear "But I've been to busy RPing my face off." That's not part of the progression of the game. That is your personal preference.
-
No You are wrong. It was a Huge success of Marketing.
Everyone thought the same thing for a reason. Bioware making money from you subbing another month.
I guess bioware is walking the Blizzards path.
From gaming colossus to Marketing Colossus.
^ This.
They got us so excited for the huge "revamp" in crafting. Then when asked "So wheres all the awesome enhancements and crystals artifice can make now" We get the answer "You get to make pretty color crystals."

And a side note, majority of things that can be RE'd dont have that little tooltip that says either "No research available" or "Research available. This was NOT an oversight as I heard plenty of this during testing.
-
We had 5 or 6 people who requested to be transferred and never did. BW can't say they didn't have enough people that volunteered to test -__-

Actually I know a guild that would kick someone that did this to anyone in the guild.
If someone absolutely refused to do this, so would we. We are a competitive guild and want to stay that way. If a person does no want to be measured, then they are not fit for our guild. To each his own.
What it comes down to, you have play the game with people who YOU enjoy playing it with. If I raided with 15 other people who were content with just pressing buttons and not really caring about rotations, theorycrafting, and top dps, I would try and find a group that would enjoy doing that stuff or just quit the game, regardless of what game it was.
Play with who you want to play with and who you synergize with. Don't force something that doesn't come natural.

Do football helmets come with HUDs that tell Tom Brady that Deon Branch is outpacing Ochocinco and will be open sooner?
They should

If the reasoning behind not making combat logs raid wide is "We don't it to be something that is required in order for people to raid or be in a guild", its flawed reasoning. The new requirement is "Everyone must upload their logs or be kicked."
Just make it easier and make it raid wide
