  1. Weapon skins? I know it was planned, and it seems like a small thing amid all the other fixes, but I have weapons I spent real money on sitting in my inventory with no way to show them off unless I want to continue to use 306 gear.

They've already answered this - it's coming in 7.1 - When is 7.1? That's a completely different question with no answer to it at this point.

  2. during our first 72 hours, we identified critical bugs such as the issues with keybinding resets, empty gear boxes, and combat styles on characters not displaying properly and we corrected them all.

I've reported that keybindings and quick bars after swapping Combat Styles is still broken to all ****.

No matter how many times I save a Loadout, the quick bars blow up to something I have to manually reset, and my Discipline almost always resets. I've submitted a bug report, but this makes the new Combat Style(s) useless.

So, was that supposed to be fixed in the quote above??

  3. Granted, it was a slot machine credit sink, but when you had the right ones they paid off.

Question, how do you get crafting crits, mount speed boosts....ect now?

    Those were nice perks.

I'll agree to a degree. I think they need to move these to LEGACY PERKS. But, they'll need to find a way to make it so you just can't cap everything,

What bugs me about the loss of Amplifiers is I had pretty much GOLD in everything - especially in PRESENCE where I could so my companion(s) would be more effective.

  4. I know I sent in a bug report saying that the new Inventory/Cargo UI is PAINFUL to look at. The borders between spaces are TOO BRIGHT and it's very difficult to adjust your eyes to see what's a full or empty spot at times.

YES, some people do not have that issue - but not everyone sees things the same way (Remember the Blue/White/Black dress crap??). It also looks like every bug that was reported on the PTS (unclickable doors, being stuck behind shielding, and more!) was NEVER fixed in the 2-month delay.

But - this new UI is the absolute WORST!

  5. And the counter to that issue, many guilds don't have requirements. Vilifying guilds to bolster your point won't work.

"a lot of" does not mean "ALL!!!!!!!!"

My guild has ZERO requirements, but we also don't have enough ACTIVE members to do Operations. Attempts to grow the guild have failed - and I'm not going to attempt it any longer.

Before anyone says "change guilds" - I've had my guild name since the days BEFORE Star Wars: Galaxies - so, no. Thank you.

  6. For several YEARS, at every Cantina I've asked this question and was always told "That sounds reasonable, I'll bring it to the team." - Now, that may have been a nice way to pat me on the head and say "Never going to happen" but in-game and in speaking to many of those I've met at the Cantina's - this is a popular request...

Most of us NON-PvP players are sitting with 90+% completes on most LOCATION achievements due to the fact that we do not PvP and will not do so.

My question and/or suggestion; and if you can ask this in a real survey of players, not just the diehards that post here - How hard would it be to MOVE all PvP Achievements into their own category under LEGACY ACHIEVEMENTS?

I'd rather see a few 0% completed in a full category (Feats of Strength, PvP, Operations), than have 13 Planets at various states near 90% with PvP objectives remaining.

I'd also LOVE to get that PTS Speeder, but I despise PvP so much, I'm not bothering to try!

Thanks, and we'll see you guys when you return from the holidays!

  7. How does this affect Conquest?

[*]Note: The biggest relevant change is Personal Conquest requiring 100k points instead of 50k. Keep that in mind for the Conquest

Out of everything, this is the most annoying. In-game messaging "states" that 50k qualifies you for Guild Conquest awards. I've had people leave the guild because they felt they did not get awards because of a change I made.

Don't reply by saying "getting 100k is easy" - I know this already, but most people I know just hit personal conquest and move on to their next toon.

But, it is what it is - however, it would be nice if the in-game text could be changed to reflect this, as well as the value of the Personal Conquest Requisition award to match the current minimum.

  8. The deco should have been sent to your in-game mail almost immediately. If you still have not received it after redeeming it, feel free to submit a ticket in-game to support.

Jackie, FYI: If you're in-game when you enter a code, you must QUIT the game, and reload in order for the item to be mailed to you. Been that way since the first codes were added. :)

  9. Many quest-givers were moved around the game - why? Only a DEV can answer that. The Sith who gives the Order of Revan quest on DK was moved near "The Wall" speeder from where it was by the Kaas City speeder by the cantina.

The game evolved, and very little explanation is provided SOMETIMES.

  10. Currently, if you queue for a FLASHPOINT QUEUE to complete the "[WEEKLY] Searching for Allies" and one person, who you're grouped with BY THE SERVER at random only has a specific Flashpoint in THEIR queue, you do not get any credit for completing that "Searching for Allies" and it's completely UNFAIR to the other people in the group.

THAT PLAYER (who only has specific Flashpoints checked) should only get paired with those with filtered results, or they should be the only ones to not get any credit for "random" flashpoints. Everyone else should get the credit because they did not filter their preferred Flashpoints.

This is either a BUG or needs to be addressed by the team and fixed "quickly" as no one should have to queue a dozen times to get credit for 1 "Random Flashpoint".

  11. Just in case anyone missed the news article, we are going to be canceling our cantina event in NY. Instead, we are going to do a livestream. Here is the article copy:

It's sad, I hate that it's come to this, but until we remove these nutcases from our ranks, it is what it is.

Stay safe guys, I've never missed the NYCC/NYC Cantinas, and they have been the highlight of my year of playing SWTOR. Hopefully, it can come back soon.

I still love all of you guys!!!

    Rob

  12. Eric,

It would be nice to see the Korrealis Commander show up back in the VIP section (was that the one that was removed??) - I'm not in-game now, so I can't check.

In fact, it would be nice if MORE exclusive items were added INTO the VIP section, as well as the CE vendor (which, if memory serves, was supposed to be a regular occurrence!)

If I can think of others; which at my old age is getting more difficult, I'll let you know.

    Hey folks,

Over time, we have received quite a few reports from players of items that used be available in-game, that no longer are. We don't mean Cartel Market items, but items that used to be available on vendors or from drops, etc. We are doing planning around some Mission rewards coming up and we thought this might be a good opportunity to try to get some forgotten items back in.

Here is what we are looking for. What are some in-game items that are no longer available that you would like to see come back, for the following categories:

    • Mounts
    • Mini-pets
    • Stronghold Decorations
    • etc.

For this feedback thread we are currently not looking for weapon or armor set suggestions.

    Let us know your thoughts!

  13. A huge "Thank you!!" to BioWare, and all of the SWTOR staff that helped make the 5th NYCC Cantina possible. A wonderful evening talking comics, Jeep's, sports, (Yes, Star Wars, too!) and more importantly, the chance to meet Natasha "Vaylin" Loring, and Darin "Valkorian" de Paul (two amazing voice actors, as well as being the most incredible people!). Such a great time... looking forward to seeing you all again next time! Pet Code: NYCantina16

Eric - You rock! I promise, next year I'll have something to complain about (I did forget to ask you and the guys about more GUILD TOOLS; Guild-wide email, ability to see who's a Sub/Preferred/F2P... ;) - There is always next year. :D
