  1. I have been here since the beginning and I simply just have not gotten into a guild believe it or not LOL. I like to run my own show but play well with others if the need arises. Usually playing DPS/Smuggler. But I do have toons for all spots in a raid and pvp.

Semd me in game mail to Radeer

    Thanks

  2. I have noticed a lot of hypocrisy in this past week where we get new people who want to learn how to do specific ops who finally get gear - which is fine. The more people we have the better. I have noticed hypocrisy among the more toxic players in which I have till this day never understood why someone would verbally abuse another person because they're new to ops then after that threaten to report them. How are you going to verbally abuse someone then have the audacity to threaten a report right after, I don't understand the logic of some of these people who play mmos. I understand every game have their elitists but jesus. We ended up have a few people leave the ops group because of the toxicity and because of it we had to end our ops when we were an hour into it or so all because we could not find replacements. Sad day.

If is not "logic" It is "flawed logic" Up til this point you have not peddled in it I assume? Don't they are people who care about nothing including themselves. There is no logic in exactly what you wrote. Dont try to understand them. Its not right and when you tell them so or you backup another player you tell them you cannot understand their idiotic logic and you dont care to understand it. It only tells you they are human but that is where it ends when it comes to traits.

  3. I'm not sure how many others have this problem but I have problems targetting anything? I dont know if there is a way to slow down how fast my mouse moves across the screen but I am just a flying dummy target to be honest I dont think I could hit anything unless it was standing still but at best even that might be a hard stretch trying to just get control of a ship for me is unbelievable so I just quit playing the gsf part of it sadly if I could figure out a way to get this under control maybe some sort of mouse control movements I have tried but yet nothing has helped.
  4. I refuse to level a 50 because I am hoping for big things for SWTOR. I am hoping that with the Legacy addition and the new Allies addition that they add alot more content than what we currently have and I do not want to miss out on it. I don't burn myself out by getting to end game. I figure end game will always be there and I can catch up when I feel there is enough content to level a toon out and creating a unique legacy. I am really hoping with the next couple of patches that there will be so much content that I am really having to play hard to catch up. Does anyone else do this? I have leveled 1 toon to 48 then I figured out that I loved the PVP servers better because it feels like your in a war. But I have dozens of others that are anywhere from 1-40ish. It seems I guess I am afraid to get to end game and then being disappointed with the content.
  5. True well lets be extremely generous and say that it all added up to 50,000 people. That is still a far cry from 1.3 million. And yes my numbers were full of assumptions but I remember in the beginning that they were seperating us into seperate channels and I was wondering if there might be a problem with that because I dont think I have ever even come close to experiencing 200 people on the fleet and that was at launch. Something doesnt seem right with their systems.........
  6. I was wondering if the servers were broken because when I am on a planet I might see 7 people on that planet. Now if you do the math and give say +100 for the fleet you might have 150 people on an entire server. With EA releasing the numbers and having 1.3 million subscribers something does not seem right? Cause if you figure with all the servers added up with 150 on each server lets just say that there are 5000 people total and that is being generous for all the servers? Are the servers broken up into channels? If so are the servers broken because they are putting to little people on each channel on each server? I hope it makes sense because I would hate to see that the game fall apart because they think that there are plenty of people in each channel and they dont see why there is such a problem?
  7. I am a diehard Star Wars fan and I had been looking forward to a great game. In reality I did not expect it right away but I did expect it to be good. Am I satisfied?

In a way yes I do like the game as it stands but I expect more. So what does it mean to expect more? In many MMO's you get patches and most often little communication from the company. I have seen MMO companies communicate and do the weekly here is what we are looking at in the future. They put out the big patches every 3 months or so and it keeps some players playing.

What would I do differently to improve this game? I would be doing smaller patches at a more rapid pace. I would put out sections of the large patches out with some small event and bam you have some instant gratification. I don't know that MMO players continue playing when the day is done. So as an MMO player we rack up hours upon hours of play time. So some speed through the content and they get bored.

Sure the legacy system is great but it is not enough to keep this game afloat if it is expected for the long term. MMO companies need to understand that as players play and they get bored they move onto the next game. But most importantly they communicate. So as they move onto the next game they talk about how bad the previous game was and in turn they spread by word of mouth (The most important form of advertising) how bad their previous experience was.

How will SWTOR fare? Well I have moved to another game (TERA) and the community was HUGE. Not that I won't come back because I do enjoy the game. But I think the SWTOR developers and advertising teams need to understand is the word about SWTOR is not good at the moment. Can they change this? Yes I believe so. I believe that if they were to release smaller patches at a more rapid pace it would allow players to feel they are always getting something new. TERA by any stretch of the word is not great. But it has tons of content and feeds the MMO players need to feel as if they are getting something new and exciting. With games suchas GW2 on the horizon which is free to play it may bury SWTOR. Then SWTOR becomes one of the dinosaurs that never lived up to expectation.

I hope the developers read this and they come to an understanding that they are rapidly disappointing the MMO players and not only that they may very well be ruining SWTOR. It reminds me of the day that SWG switched game direction and tore down a great game to literally just shambles.

I guess one of the most important things to remember is that 3 months at work for a developer may seem to go fast but 3 months to a player seems like a lifetime. No matter if they allow play in Asia or Europe if the word is bad about SWTOR it will never attract the amount of players that it expects.
