  1. If you join Alpha Company you are the front line.

The only thing standing between the freedom and a Sith conquered Empire are the brave souls who decide they are going to stand and fight against oppression.

We don't use lightsabers. We don't know how. We are not the jedi, their powers escape us, as we were not gifted with these at birth. But we can still fight.

Even the most gifted Jedi will fall to concentrated blaster fire.

Even the strongest saber wielder cannot block high explosive.

We started our trooper guild in Star Wars galaxies ten years ago. We led one of the largest and most popular trooper only guilds in the game. We published a number of youtube videos that were immensely popular among the MMO community.

Our most popular being Sandbox Soldiers:

Since then we have published some very epic videos indeed.

We were featured in Wired Magazine in 2005 for the very first Darth Vader military inspection in game where our company of stormtroopers was visited and inspected by Darth Vader in game. We brought RP and PVP content to a game that had little in the way of immersion as we would patrol cantinas, harrass aliens, and search for rebels. We would often sweep through battlegrounds in numbers exceeding 40+ and dominate against the Rebel Alliance. But now we have a new challenge.

Now with SWTOR we have a new game, new challenge, and we have decided to trace our lineage back to the origins of the trooper, only to be facing the sith this time around.

This guild is not for the faint of heart. We run like a military organisation. We have ranks. We have standard armour and colours (using modable items) based on rank. We have rules. We are very active - you will find most of our members are on most days, not because they are pressured to, but because they want to. Our pride is enormous and our sense of comraderie even more so. That said, we do not have an attendance requirement per se, simply that if you are going to be gone for more than two weeks to let us know on our forums.

We PVP. Yes thats right. We are a hardcore RP guild (in /say chat we only talk in character - other channels it is not necessary) but we PVP to win. Because the best way to RP a trooper is to be actively engaged in the war no? But it also adds content and immersion to the game, because it is realistic for a company of troopers to be fighting regularly! We sweep through planets and battlegrounds with 30+ troopers and we bring down the full wrath of the Republic Military. See for yourself.....

If you are interested more information can be found at AlphaCompanyOnline.org

If you want to join click on "enlist" at the top.

If you want to see what it looks like to go into battle with a few dozen troopers - a sea of white armour if you will... Join Alpha Company. Be a part of our new legacy. FIGHT AS ONE.

  2. You mean "Acoy" From Valcyn? The-Acoy?

I erm, served... for a brief time, alas, I moved on from Valcyn to TCPrime when it came out... I still have fond memories of the guild. Nice to see it didn't die, only moved.

The one and only! Love to hear from people that knew us in a former (or should I say future) life.

  3. A very very good video. Great footage and clipping, a very stylish site, and as for the company itself, the cool factor is certainly high, up to and including the slightly menacing tone in your training manual.

I found myself giddy about the font you are using, the latin letters that look aurebesh - while I have aurebesh, I have been unable to find a similar font but with latin letters (or high galactic alphabet if you will) on the holonet.

Something very cool about uniforms in these kind of games. I shall now have my Chiss Quartermaster try and fit everyone in his para-military organisation into a trooper uniform.

Thank you - do you mean the stencil font? If so its called "Major Snafu".
