The lack of people responding to this post should speak for itself. If you have not understood that statement let me further clarify. You are entitled to your own opinion, and the majority of what you wrote is just that. In addition it makes us wonder if you even played the new expansion, or if you watched someone play it. The only truth I can see coming out of your post was the "Other" section, because frankly all the rest sounds like you work for either EA or BW ; and trying to feed the players cow dung by 'acting like one of us' and posting something with the guise of just being a regular subscriber.
I respectfully disagree with you here. I feel the post was spot on to my opinion of the update and I can assure you, I do not work for EA nor BW. You have an opinion as well of course, but you should not assume just because someone likes something, that they are part of the "system".

I have done it in the past more to just test things within the server community.
So far no male characters in TOR yet, but ya never know.

No really you should. If you feel that self consccious not to post a picture then why make a post about girl gamers? In all honesty most guys dont care if a girl games. Matter a fact most guys would appreciate the fact that a girl can sit down and have a little escapism time with them. Fyi my Yugo is just a jetta, my stunna shades are only rayban's and the only collared shirts I wear are when I am working. I would post a picture but I am pretty sure BW will close the post due to the privacy clauses in the forum
You may or may not of misunderstood the purpose of this thread. The OP was really just throwing out some funny comments on the subject and I do admit, I can see how it can be misread. Many of the comments in the thread have lead to a basic understanding by the majority that girls game, we love to have fun and we like to do a lot of what the guys do in killing stuff, playing dps classes, ect...
I don't want to see your picture because I don't care (in the nicest way) what you look like or what sex you are. You game just like I do and that is what counts. I am sorry for the "grow up" comment. I interpreted your comment as one who thinks there are no girls in gaming and that we HAVE to prove we are. Jetta's are cool, shades are shades, and the popped collar is somehow still in style. lol

Why should we? You will only call it a fake or make fun of how we look. Lets see you post YOUR pic and let us decide if it is real. Unless there is a Yugo in the drive way and you have stunna shades on with the popped collar, I will surely think it is not real!

So, seems like there's a good amount of interest in the Force Cafe guild. I was thinking Imp-side Lord Adraas. Any objections? Other suggestions?
Where ever you pick, just leave the server name and names of who to look for once a toon is created.

The game will be fine. It is still a baby in the MMO world and has time to grow into what most of us hope is a great game. Personally I think things are going well considering the age and how fickle we are as people. No game is perfect. Every game has flaws and bugs. No game will satisfy everyone.
I think when an update or expansion is due, they will bring in people to help, then let them go or place them on other projects once done. I hear it is rather common in the gaming world. 1.3 Million people still playing and the game has not yet settled.
Like in Football (soccer) it takes some time to settle down and play the way you want. You need to make adjustments and change things up from time to time but the key is to settle and do what you do best.

Of course it could be all different than what I expect but I think you should treat it as a bunch of individual moves instead of a whole guild.
Make sure that you have communicated well what server you are going to and have everyone clear out the guild bank. If they are not taking characters and plan on not using them anymore, have then pass on all credits and items that they feel should be saved.
Get four people from the old server to log on and reform the guild. Make sure you pass on any new names since old ones might be taken. Nothing worse than getting on the new server and not know who to contact. lol
Once you have enough members back in, redo the guild bank and members can recontribute again.
I can see the top servers being blocked or those server who are set for transfers will have only certain ones to go to. This would be to prevent overpopulation. If there is no direction, I would assume the top 5 servers of each play style (pvp, pve, rp) and region be targeted by players and make moves to them.
Fatman, Harbinger, Jedi Covenant all will get packed and fast. Queues will start and thus will the complaints about not being able to play right away. lol
No matter what, someone somewhere will be mad in how this all goes down. The best thing you can do is over communicate to your people and try to be available (those members with guilding rights) for each one as they move over.

The only thing bad about that was the cheating. Not everyone cheated I am sure and they probably got rolled. That is how that small group did what they did I bet. If not, if they did not cheat, well grats to them, but cheating is what ruined everything.
Game managers need to be more strict in punishment for cheaters. They are way to soft and all advantages go to those who do do it. This hurts more than anything else. If they stood up to the cheaters, it would either clear off all those people who can only cheat or those cheaters would accept the rules and play fair.

I wouldn't mind seeing this. I do think that it should not be some when ever you want type deal though. Have some type of timer on it like a week or two. I think there are choices you should make and stick with. Faction is not as big a deal in this game, but seeing people flip every day would get old.
It will help balance things to help servers! /sign

Good post but it would of been better placed in the Customer Service section. It will only get moved from here once a CS member sees it. You do make a good point though.

I can help start a guild but I will be honest and say that I wont be there very much. I would be on my main toons/server and only check in from time to time. I don't mind helping get the guild going though if needed. Just send me a PM with the time, place, faction, ect....

My guild and I are on the server Tarro Blood which is currently ranked about 50th of all US servers. We are looking at how BW does transfers and have been looking into moving to a higher populated server. We would love to stay where we are but we are prepared for anything. lol
I would love to try and get as many Kett peeps on one server as possible but it would need to be a good population.
So far we have a favorite to move to, and some "2nd" options if we do end up leaving Tarro Blood. We want an East Coast, pve server and right now Jedi Covenant is leading. Sanctum of the Exalted is also on the list which is where Onxy and others currently are. That server is rp/pve I believe.
Let's try to get some feedback on this and perhaps we can coordinate a good place for all of us. I know a good amount are on Port Nowhere and they would probably want a pvp server, so I guess we need to narrow what people are looking for?

Where does this data come from? I want to know if I should be raging to get off my server.
I use this site http://www.torstatus.net/ to check on things. It is NOT official, but it has been a great gauge for me thus far. You can use the different server regions and break down a 24 period and all that.

I have two play lists I use depending on what I am doing. One is a heavy, fight type music list, and the other is just an out and about list.
I wont list all the bands but to name a few....
Metallica, Linkin Park, Korn, Incubus, Sublime, Slipnot, Bullet for My Valentine, Five Finger Death Punch, Krazyie Bone, Bone thugs, Ice Cube, Ludacris, Tech N9ne, Eminem, Yelawolf, KRS One, Eric B & Rakim, EPMD, Jedi Mind Tricks, Bob Seger, Evanescence, DMX, The Eagles, Kid Frost, Phil Collins, System of a Down, Tool, the Fugees, Tu Pac. ect....
Some songs are made by myself and a very good friend.

I like TOR and plan to stay for the foreseeable future but man I miss SWG. Through ALL the changes and watched the lights go out.
Since many people thing this game has a lot of WoW features, why not bring on some of the good SWG things?
