[Interplanetary travel SUCKS !]

That's why I bought a security key so I could get the item that ports you directly to the fleet with a 1-hour CD. It's well worth the 4 bucks just for that and you also get a more secure account.

 

Also, OP, I find the interplanetary travel too time consuming but like others said I guess it is trying to capture the realism of travelling to one planet to the next.

 

I find the "realism" thing a load of crap.

 

Why?

 

Being able to snap my fingers, and the speeder I keep in my pocket magically appears is realism?

 

Putting on gloves that make me stronger is realism?

 

Putting things in a cargo container in a cantina and have it magically appear in my cargo container ship is realism?

 

How about with all this technology and I can't even get an email on my ship?

 

The list goes on and on. Bottom line, it's a time sink.

Mail and credits on a ship. If you have items, then head to fleet.

 

I don't mind traveling. I like seeing scenery. But there are a boatload of time sinks in this game. Way too many imho.
