  1. Because there is like 30 people in queue and some like arenas and some don't. Some like Huttball and some don't. PvP would never happen in a world where you can pick and choose what you want to play.

Haha youre actually trying to outvalid gameplay due to a realism point of view?

Then if the rest of the games in the world would be reduced to 1%

The problem is exactly as you mention yourself...Bioware has problems with small queues because they make bad decision..and thats why people leave.

  2. Yeah you want a faster Q thats right Bioware youre always doing a disservice with this "forced" gameplay.

I sincerely CANCER HATE arenas...they are so far from what I define as fun, same goes for WoWs arenas btw.

So why cant I just veto the maps/arenas? Whats your problem? Warzones were the ONLY reason why I came back to SWTOR and now I sit here with a feeling of disgust that I have to auto leave.

  3.

Again, it's not the money, it's the fact that its a lot of time to regear for only one new Op. I'd have rather paid more and gotten more.

Finally someone who agrees with me!

but the fanboys in here love the cheap expansion, but fact is, its just a lackluster DLC nothing more, from a company that has already lost too much.

  4. yep me too, I had to reinstall the entire game because there was an md5 inconsistency after the new patch and NOTHING worked. So play around this at your own risk.

To the creator of Unleashed: Why havent you beta tested this with other clients, setups, versions of windows?

Unleashed was way way to unstable for my liking, so I will pass for now untill its way more tested in a later build.

    I cannot recommend SWTOR Unleashed.

  5. This is not a rant about how bad the game is

I've taken it upon myself to cancel my sub until this one-time password feature is fixed or removed, I just spent 4 hours trying to log into the game, each attempt saying I required a "one" time password..

Each time the email would take 10-15 minutes to arrive, by that time it had already expired..

I simply refuse to pay for a game that won't even let me play it..

I now have 31 "One"-time password emails in my inbox, along with the 27 I have deleted.

This is simply disgusting, there is even a 20 page thread with over 11 thousand views and not a single bioware post.

Get your cheese together bioware, seriously.

Edit: Link to the thread http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=618866

How are you going to cancel your sub if you cant log in? :D

  6. True, very true. I was lucky, I had a guild mate show me how to get to it. I died once. Ironically, he died twice. The last jump to get to the I-beams before you can run to the datacron itself was the one obstacle that worried me because of the rock cropping you have to jump from. I found the proper angle and made the jump. The reward is worth it though. That +10 End put me over 25K HP on my Sorcerer Tank! :D Getting to it is a time consuming adventure...makes getting the datacrons on the Zoist Shadow a walk in Disney's Park! ;)

No offense but the datacrons never were anything but a gimmick. Its just a puzzle /exploring game and a measly 10 endurance with change nothing..whats that...100hp extra? lol

    These datacrons are lame

  7. It's actually not pointless. The biggest problem with troll threads is they sometimes get too much attention, and it starts to look like an actual issue to the community. Clearly, men playing female toons is not an issue--someone was just trying to stir the pot. Trolling the troll is like stirring the pot in the opposite direction--it uses humor to negate the false importance created by the original troll thread.

Is that clearer? These are some advanced trolling tactics, but try to follow along and you'll eventually catch on.

    Achievement Unlocked: Forum Hero.

  8. When I leveled at launch there were certain places on each of the planets that had nearly a 100% chance of being stuck.

I logged in again 4 days ago and leveled a character and checked if they were fixed.

Every single place still is bugged and gets me stuck.

Hey Bioware, hows your singleplayer mmo coming along.

  9. ^^ What he said!

You people need to stop having such a sense of entitlement, the "ME" generation is starting to take over where everyone expects that they deserve something for nothing.

The DLC or expansion or whatever you want to call is was $10 measly dollars, the price of a value meal at McDonalds FFS. The planet and extra levels and art content alone are worth that, hell people spend more than that on the CM for one set of gear.

The dev team put a lot of work into this and I think it is well worth the $10, the game is much more fun to play and more stuff to do. Pretty hard to argue with spending $10 for even a weeks worth of entertainment.

You are completely missing the entire point lol. This isnt about "measly 10 dollars", its about something called an expansion when its just content compared to a dlc, when most companies even smaller than Bioware manages to do way vaster expansions. Look at Rifts expansion how big it is for example!

rothc is a joke so far

  10. I disagree. I personally don't think Sprint should even be in the game. Walking long distances increases immersion...it makes you feel you are actually in a large world rather than playing a game. The normal walk and run are realistic, sprint is ridiculous and smacks you in the face with the reality that you are just "playing a game".

Oh...and I wonder what you people would have done if you had played WoW from launch when you couldn't get a mount till level 40 and YES YOU HAD TO WALK EVERYWHERE. The degree to which people want instant gratification and can't be bothered to experience things like an MMO world in all their detail and with all the hard work the developers put in makes me sick tbh.

speak for yourself. Adding Sprint for at level 1 was one of the best 1.2 changes and it is way more enjoyable than tedious slow poke running.

    I love it!

  11. this is by far the best written summary of how I see SWTOR too.

gave it 5 stars too, people should read this, especially the owners of this forum.

combining and mmo with a singleplayer game created a mutated abomination that became the outcome of none of the good, and the only thing Bioware can do now, is damage control and hope to maintain a niche game.

    Nothing more.

  12. Update, 02/26/2012:

"I am a huge Star Wars and BioWare fan, and have been looking forward to this game for years. Leveling through my first character was an above average experience compared to other MMO games, however the end-game at level 50 is extremely boring. I tried leveling other classes, but it seemed very repetitiousness. I am VERY disappointed that SWTOR is such a limited game with no open world aspects, including, but not limited to, a viable, interesting, crafting system. The rest of my family will be cancelling soon as well, until such a time as the game is expanded to include content other than repetitive questing and Flashpoints. Thanks."

    -Subscription Cancelled-

Cya when the game gets more content... May the Force be with you.

yeah me and my brother cancelled few weeks ago too. The game is so lackluster and the instancing is terribad. No AAA MMO EVER HAS INSTANCING.

One grand mmo managed, so can this.
