  1. Hey follks,

The team is aware of issues relating to some Operation and Flashpoint bosses. We are currently looking to address these issues with Game Update 4.3 and will pass on any additional information as we have it.

    Thanks!

The epitome of an inept and lazy. Drive more players away. You do realize though, once all the players are gone, then no one will be buying those scratch tickets you call packs on the CM. This is unacceptable yet again. Fix it now, not 2 months from now.

  2. 1st answer no, and the second answer is also no. The fact that they are going to wait 2 months just to fix a bug that affects ops boss fights says everything you need to know.

This guy gets it. Bio/EA has checked out. They aren't going to wake up until the money stops flowing in. Then they will just turn off the lights and cake up another turd cake in the next IP and wait for people to give them money. It's a fine balance of giving people just enough lip service you care but not really doing anything to make things better. Shame on us all for continually falling for it.

  3. I loved this and chuckled thoroughly. Then I got upset because truth hurts. Thanks for a good read. A shame the tongue in cheek poke at the state of affairs will not get any traction - partly because fanboys refuse to acknowledge any problems and also because forums are like the deleted items bin of the Internet (sometimes they get read, but mostly they just get emptied when full). I'd upvote you if I could!
  4. Well we shall embrace the Devs Madness and delete our Sents and Marauders, thank you for not following the concerns of paying customers and presenting a big pile of BS. Oh thanks for posting the patchnotes and postponing the patch for one day, that should be enough time to ready our Alts that we are forced on for competitive Endgame.

I reallly hope you will stop faking statistics and realize that Sents are not viable and in an even worse position then in 3.0. Vanilla release. I forgot John is upset with us having another opinion and you stopped talking because a lot of people got overly mad about the three "L2play Noobz" posts in the Sent forums recently. "L2play noobz" is what a large majority of the Sent population understood from your posts so I will use this term to underline what a bad job you are doing in communication.

The Class representative system in its original form helped a lot more, as someone from the community can better transport what the community asks for compared to a CM who lacks any practical knowledge about the Class.

The community of Sents asked you not to do it and you did it anyways. Good Job! /sarcasm

My canceled sub stands. Your inept and stubborn attitude demonstrates that I do not want to be here.

  5. Cross post from the Tait thread that outlines 3.2.1 arrives on the 26.

Guess this lines up well enough. I'll live to see Sents crippled, dare I exclaim ruined, but my sabers go dark in 38 days. I canceled my sub to protest the changes to Sents. The willful disregard of the community voice has only served to demonstrate the disconnect and disdain for so many sincere players that loved the class. The very same players that have such a passion and attachment, we considered it our class. However we realize with sadness and bitter resentment that we have been shown it is not. When the custodians and visionaries of the class opt for a path that is so clearly negative on multiple fronts, players must vote with their wallets. Every sub represents not only a monthly line item of revenue, but a potentially forecastable Cartel Market consumer as well.

I have read the positions that have defended the Devs, that all the posts from persons like myself, are the noise and drama drowning out the best posts by posters such as Oofalong. Yet, I contend that for every sarcastic, irate and frivolous post, there have been 5 that provided exceptional feedback taking the form of mechanic changes, mathematical models and earnest engagement. When players feel this level of affinity to your game, the class, then it becomes clear only monetary discomfort can dislodge the apathy and silence we have endured and continue to receive.

For those that may choose to mock my post, just remember that your class can and ultimately may be next. I supported the Sages in their struggle to prevent the confusing and illogical changes. They themselves did not stand idly by and lay down on their sabers. One player may mean very little to Devs and Managers, but the clear message being delivered is we can only bear the injury for so long until the fleeting fun we derive from a once promising and imaginative game has evaporated. Engagement from the community will dwindle and the forums represent an empty forum.

Perhaps I am my own hypocrite for arguing they are absent in this place. But this is more of a post meant to reach those that will remain. For all my friends, may the force be with you, if you choose to stay or go.

  6. Maybe I am living in denial, but I am holding out hope until 3.2.1 goes live.

Oofalong, I have a great deal of respect and appreciation for all your feedback about the changes, the reduction in dmg output and the general mangling of our rotation. I really hoped your voice would be the rally point and all the rest of us expressing our universal agreement would get traction.

It's not going to happen. I have no more desire to be positive about this dire situation and ultimate end to the our class. I am intend to respond the only way that will garner attention eventually. I'll be unsubbing.

Best of luck to those that can hang on. I understand, I want to love my class, but it's soon to be a force ghost.

  7. I'm done trying to be reasonable about all this mess. I have tried to maintain an even tone without trolling and anger in all my posts across all these change/feedback thread. But enough is enough. A Sentinel has his breaking point.

You have failed us and yourselves. You don't understand your players, the class, choice and foolish pride. You refuse to change course and continue to add insult to injury.

Here is what is easy to understand. Unsubbing. Best of luck to those that can stomach this, but I'm being force choked to death by Devs and I'm just done.

  8. I stumbled across this thread and was just dumbfounded. All of this is broken in one way or another? After 3 years?

All these story pieces and parts, essential for game completionists, just waving in the wind. How can no one at Bio/EA care about this? It's like having a beautiful home with no floors, half the pipes are missing and there's no doors.

Recently, I too wanted to work on codex entries and dig into the juicy elements of the lore and story. After I hit a brick wall on Corellia and couldn't get support to care, I gave up. I'm to the point of giving up the game like so many.

Although I don't have any additional information to add to the thread, I wanted to pause and compliment your eternal optimism that someone is actually reading this with any level of development direction and still gives a damn about the players. Your work is wonderful and it's a shame they don't take this thread to heart.
