  1. I think the only problem is that it lost it's transparency and it looks odd cause of the full black background that blocks the view.

The transparency needs to be returned to be in line with the rest of the menu's in the game. I think that aside from that it's just a question of getting used to it.

It could be that, i have already gotten used to the character menu and most of the other its just the comparative of items that is glaring and quite frankly bad.

  2. ok so acording to what ive look around the newest instalments of the guidebooks this one on the smuggler way of life is cannon

    http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Smuggler%27s_Guide

now some spilers ahead i noticed that in this book is not only a HK model but a image of a Corellian XS Stock Light Freighter otherwise known as the smugglers ship from this game.

it seems more and more disney is intrested in the old republic era now i know the game isnt cannon but it does throw further evidance that they may do something with the era in the future.

  3. My only issues were

    1) Ackbar, for such a important character they killed him off so badly, i would have preferred he be the one to sacrifice himself by hyperspaceing the ship into the first order fleet.

    2) snoke a surprise yes but the fact he was made out to be the big bad behind it all really just let it down he died so easily.

    3) Pointless Casino planet i mean in the end that whole mission was pointless.

    4) Plasma, i hope shes alive cause that was a very disapointing death (though better than bobas.)

i love the rest of the film however it was different and thankfully not a ESB rehash in such a way like TFA was ANH rehash.

Heres hoping JJ doesn't rehash jedi if he making episode 9

  4. For all the "grrr, I hate loot crates" sentiment going around -- which is a gut reaction that I share when it comes to full-priced games -- I don't think I've yet seen a viable response to this issue. AAA games today have roughly the same sticker price that many did 20 years ago (and, with inflation, effectively cost less), yet obviously cost an order of magnitude more to produce.

Now the potential market for such games is bigger than it was 20 years ago, but it's grown about as large as it is realistically ever going to get, so the ability to recoup rising costs through additional box sales is pretty well tapped out. Raising the sticker price to $90-120 for the base game is a deal-breaker for many gamers, and might well be counter-productive due to lost sales. Cost-cutting measures are likely to get a game raked over the coals -- e.g., put out a game with a campaign of "only" 8 hours and see how many nice things people have to say about it.

Again, my visceral reaction to loot crates, or even microtransactions in general, in a full-priced AAA game is annoyance. But there is no way I'm shelling out $120 for a game, either. So I'm really not sure what the right answer is for game companies looking to turn a profit.

Yule find that the game itself isn't hard to cover costs and make a profit, the the marketing.

Ea spends thousands if not millions on selling a game which to be honest is stupid.

For new ip's sure i can understand that you would need to advertise much harder than most but for a IP like star wars the name sells itself, all it takes now a day is the Internet and people to get excited about it and you can easily make a game noticed.

If EA stopped spending rediclous amounts of money on advertising then they probably wouldn't use the "games cost to much " bullcrap excuse to add MT in.

  5. In the Vader comic when he is talking to Palpatine, Old Palpatine references that the Sith were at war with the jedi and eachother and killed eachother before the Rule of two. So they have referenced certain events in legends and I think rebels also has referenced certain events from Legends.

True the jedi war with the Mandlorians and the Hammerhead transports not to mention Malacore.

If the next series was set in the old republic id freak.

  6. ok my list top 5 ;)

    1) Torian / Theran ( shared its the voices just yum)

    2) young Obi Wan ( yummy)

    3) young Han Solo ( the character ...NOT the actual actor :p)

    4) Andronikos Revel ( damn voices mmmhmm)

    5) Nico/ Jace Malcom ( original Cinematics)

Voices get me every time or the characters

Id have to add the male agent to that list the voice is just so seductive.

  7. Well to me, it's obvious that Theron is "going undercover" with this new organization, and the only way that he could get in, would be to betray the Eternal Alliance and have them see it.

My big issue and question with this is ...why?

Your character is sitting on the Eternal Throne, commanding virtually unlimited power with an armada at their disposal. You defeated an immortal and his ridiculously powerful kids.

What possible threat can this faction pose? And if it IS a threat, where were they during the 5 years you were gone and the Eternal Empire stomped on the galaxy for fun and profit?

My point is that, this faction is no more than a yipping little dog that can't pose any real credible threat to the Eternal Empire, so Theron having to go undercover is trite, contrived and completely silly. It's like a cop going undercover to take down an underground bake sale, with the biggest danger being dragged into a book club.

Though I will admit they have sort of portrayed your character overall as just terrible at life in cut-scenes. More than once you have been completely neutralized by.... wait for it!..... A BLASTER! Twice in umbara alone you have nearly met your end because the enemy has a flimsy pistol. Watching Malcolm climb onto the throne and activate it, i watched in complete sadness and disbelief as it took him a good 5-7 seconds to climb on and punch a few buttons, while i'm sitting here "come on man!....use the force!...throw lightning!...you've got tons of time!... force pull him...throw him off the edge...saber throw!............or just stand there like a sodding tool and let him activate the big bad weapon of death....ya that works too..."

So maybe Theron feels that this mysterious order is going to send 2 untrained goons with slingshots, but they'll wait to attack you until you're in a cutscene...

This depends on how this new faction is operating.

If they are very much like another empire like faction and plan to end you with force then yes it seems silly, but it could be that they are more insidious similar to the star cabal from the agent story line,For all we know there are agents of this faction in our alliance as well as inside both the republic and Empire.

If that's the case then finding them all before they do any damage would be difficult if not impossible so Theron is going undercover to route them out.

  8. Haven't played it yet and now im not going to.

like others i read the leak and im really not happy, Theron is one of my favorite characters and THE ONLY MALE SGR CHARACTER who for the first time i actually liked and now he betrays me for leading a alliance i didn't want in the first place?

    Screw this im done

  9. T7 had missing from my companions and contacts list on my Jedi knight.

I have finished KOTET and Iokath so its some silly misunderstanding hes just vanished.

  10. As a SWG player you can not compare the two.

    Both excel via different means:

TOR had a brilliant story and is one of the only reasons i come back, its combat is better as well (though recent so called upgrades i think have made some classes worse off) pvp is sort of a middle ground as i like the warzones but lack of world pvp is obvious. TOR fails in its social aspects you rarly forge bonds with players and its only gotten more solo content as the game has gone on and its space combat is dreadful.

SWG had better crafting better community better housing and had a space combat that is so much better than TOR'S in every way, but its planets were a little dull and its lack of real story can mean that you had to make your own way, not a bad thing at times but i still prefer TOR's.

You will also find that SWG vets will differ on what version of SWG is better the pre cu the cu or the NGE for example i preferred the CU and very late NGE (though i didn't like the jedi being a starting class)

  11. ,

The Republic doesnt offer support because it cant. The Empire surrended to Zakuul early in the invasion, The Republic continued to fight it for years until they were all but decimated. The Republic doesnt have a token force to offer, and Tython no longer has a Jedi order. There is literally no way they can help you. The republic is all but destroyed at the time.

The Empire doesnt really make any meaningful alliance.. its all lip service, but at no point do they ever really go out of their way to support you, you fight on your own with your own resources and she asks YOU for help. Then, at the first chance she has, Acina tries to steal a super weapon out form under you. She doesnt contact you, doesnt try to convince you to use the resource to help her, doesnt ask you to negotate the weapon..she immediately violates the "alliance" for her own gain.. because it was never a really alliance, she was using you. The Imperial alliance was a sham from the get go, because of course it is. The Republic is trying to steal the weapon too, but they aren't doing so under the pretense of being in an alliance with you.

That's the point however even if i dont get much help from the empire they still make an offer to support the alliance and the Jedi still exsist clearly as there are jedi in the republic army on Iokath. Only Malcom claims she was trying to steal the weapon from under us she claims she intervened to stop the republic, do i believe her completely, no but she has so far shown no signs of deception or mistrust after all the mails you get during the fight against Valin she admits that members of her empire wanted your absence while you and Valin were missing on iokath to make a claim for the Eternal throne but she doesn't.

Meanwhile the republic doesn't even offer a Alliance even if its just like the empire words and no real forces they just sit back and do nothing the mail from them during the fight against Valin they say we will not support you during this time, so why should i suddenly have to listen to Malcon when he demands to share Iokath when they have shown zero support for the alliance?

  12. 1. I am the Emperor of the galaxy. That is your fault, you made my character the Emperor/Empress. There is absolutely no reason, whatsoever, I should be taking orders from the Sith Empire or the Galactic Republic. While my character had already allied with the Sith Empire (granted, as an IA, it was mostly nostalgia value back in KotET anyway), that character storyline (IA) since practically day 1, puts the character at odds with the empire, whether you go dark side or not. The literal dont trust anyone trope. Use whoever is around, they will probably backstab you tomorrow, thus is the way of the world. Maybe if it was Darth Jadus, I might feel a sense of loyalty (yeah I made those choices, Jadus is bae), but besides a bit of flirty sexual tension, Acina offers quite literally nothing to the character of the agent. Even agents that are steadfast imperial loyalists have enough ammo from class story to be completely offput by any dealings with the Sith Empire. (re: the whole Imperial/Sith Intelligence disavowment and assassination attempts storyline from Chap 3 onward).

Since that has turned into a bit more of a rant for just one bullet point, I will make it more clear here - The Sith Empire previously "allied" in KotET is my subject/frenemy, not my faction. Even as an ally, they have no business being on my sovereign lands (Iokath) in the first place. I wont even get started on the Republic, there is nothing really to say there, besides the fact as an IA I recall being forcibly brainwashed into serving them once. Onomotaphobia anyone?

    2. So said agent has a bit of a loose style romantically (to be fair I think she has flirted with every prompt that has ever been presented, in fact had to choose between all three leads in KotFE and ended up with Lana (because lesbians are awesome I guess). But so flirting with Acina right in front of Lana, not even a half hour after sharing "i love yous" awww..... my character just cucks her girlfriend, right there plain as day, and Lana says nothing, not a peep about it. Not even a "Lana disapproves" flytext. Dromund Kaas was dirty behind the back, this was on a whole other level. Do you even pay attention to the nuances of your characters? Lana should have flown into a furious rage at that slight. But alas, disappointment, and now my character feels completely unloved.

Please do better. I already know you can, its why I came back around the time Revan came out.

    1) i can give you another side of the story my Jedi Knight has defended the republic against countless threats risked his life more times than i can count, i have saved the jedi the republic hell i killed the Emperor TWICE, So when a hero of the republic leads an alliance to fight Arcan and Valin a threat to all life in the Galaxy the Republic the Government i have defended since i step foot on Typhon just sits back and does nothing, not even o token offer of support and to make matters worse the Empire the very thing i spent most of my life fighting is willing to put aside the fact i have fought and killed so many of its people and work with me.

But alas i ignored it and liberated the Galaxy and unlike your character i turned the Eternal fleet into a force of good and used it to help worlds damaged from the Eternal empire to recover in including the Republic capital.

So i land on Iokath and Jace Malcom has the nerve to say he will share a planet i found only if i help him against the empire who so far have actually shown little proof of betrayal, i had enough, my jedi a maxed in light side said "no".

So foolishly i hoped me siding with Arcina would be interesting i could probably side with her but remind her we are not here to kill every republic on the planet but no i get lines that basically make me sound like ive gone full dark no i haven't aligned with them ive joined them even though they work for me .

    2) I must admit i was nervous about my choice as i romanced Theron since SOR so i was a litte concerned that going against his farther would kill that dead but it very quickly became clear that they are very distant and the moment when i confronted him i did get one chance to say dont do this but because Bioware has basically turned the republic into the new evil empire he ignores me for power wuhahaha oh wait no hes dead. ill give them this the romance worked well for Theron as i had chances which i took to say he didn't have to fight his farther as well as giving him a minute and consoling him after he died.

    3) i did find it odd that Elara just vanished and despite my choice im hoping that reading after my decision that i havnt locked myself out of getting my allies back (Kira or Doc for example) simply because i couldn't deal with the stupidity of the Republic or to be more precise the stupidity of the writing of Bioware in regards to the republic.

  13. So, you are complaining that the prices are too high on the GTN and you would like those items to be direct sale?

Are you forgetting that someone already did spend a lot of real money on those items? There is a video of someone opening 150 packs for the vented saber and not getting it. At around $40 per crate and, in this case, 30 packs per a crate = $200 (Without getting it). I would say the GTN prices are more than fair.

Ultra rare item means that only a few people will have that item. Not everyone. If you wanted it so bad, raise the credits and get it. It is no different than other games. Ultra rare, only those that are determined to get it will get it.

That's a load of crap the direct sale has been for items that are ultra rare and at a high price or not available on the GTN anymore which i said last time i looked it wasn't.

The Unstable Lightsaber the Temple Guardian Armor oh and the Lightning Weapon Tuning have all been direct after the fact so Bioware putting them any item into a direct sale would not be a surprise.
