The fact that you can not unbind it annoys me as well. Every now and then i press that key by misstake and open that stupid customer support ticket window in the middle of combat. I actually submitted a bug report that you can not unbind it one time when i pressed it by misstake and got killed by a champion. But they just closed that ticket, no answer or anything.

I agree. The proton torpedo mechanics is a total faliure!
Just let me activate/fire them just like I activate the EMP Generator etc. Its just stupid that it locks you out from yoru regular missiles.

Yea, Cauterize is fairly decent, I generally will pull it out for Elite, Champs, Bosses, etc. As for abilities you can pull, I moved Riposte and the Healing Debuff Saber throw whose names escapes me, off my main bars and to one of the side bars. I also moved a lot of the buffs and long CD stuff off the main bars, so Inspiration, Relics, Quick Travel, stuff like that.
Ah, thats right. I forgot about riposte. I've heard that it can be removed as well when you reach 50.

So, my (combat speced) sentinel just dinged 50 yesterday and besided being a bit squishy I like the class.
But there is another thing that annoys me...
...and its all the abilities you get as a sentinel. Actually you get more then I can find valid keybindings for (almost too many to fit them all on the quick bars actually . So I was wondering if there is any abilities that I can just skip and never use as a combat speced sentinel? I've replaced slash with blade rush at least. I've also heard that Cauterize can be ignored as combat?
Any advice is appreciated

Works fine for me even after the latest patch.

maybe they are and its the other classes that are out of balance
My thought exactly

Space combat in SWTOR reminds me of this game
Anyone else rember this game? Back in -93 when it came out I thought it was the most awesome game I've ever played on my PC, or any computer for that matter

I love it that the key above the TAB key (I guess it differs between keyboard layouts, but i think its the ~ key on english keyboards) is hard bound to the "create new ticket/bug report" function. I just love it when you're about to press 1 or TAB and accidentally press that f***ing key instead and open the create ticket window. And when you try to close it you then get a confirmation window asing if you really want to cancel...
I just love it when that happens during combat. I swear if they don't fix it im going to submit a ticket about it every time I happen to press that god forsaken key.
I actually did submit a ticket about it one time. But they just closed it.

It's not like when people see an ocean in a game rush to grab their swimsuits. It makes the world feel more alive though. Same as the day/night cycle, the dynamic weather, the critters, the ambient sounds. All stuff that I'm sure people are glad that Bioware didn't jump on the bandwagon of including.
I agree with this.

I for one want a DPS meter or similar in game. Not to be able to judge other players but to use it as a tool to measure my own performance. And don't forget that jerks will be jerks, addons or no addons.

Oh im sure they have many new races planned for upcoming expansions. Im looking forward to it! Cant wait to roll a Rancor Jedi Knight!

I agree. Leaderboards would be a nice addition to the space missions. (and also the ability to finish the mission early when you have completed all objectives with say 2-2,5 minutes left)

I like the idea. But I hate it when you try to jump from one platform to another, and when you jump you hit your head on some kind of invisible block, stop mid air and fall to the ground. Happens to me all the time. And after the 5-6th time you just want to uninstall the game

A forum without a proper search function is a mega fail to say the least.
But setting up working forums isn't Biowares strong side as it seems. I remember the forum at social.bioware.com was lacking a search functionm for a while as well. And even now its not very good.

I cringe everytime I get a new abilitty now. Where the hell am I supposed to put this stuff? How the hell am I supposed to even remotely hotkey it? I bought a goofy *** razer naga mouse, and I still can't hotkey everything! It's completely absurd.
And most of the time(as others have pointed out), they're all in various states of cooldown. I feel like I'm playing my healer who does nothing but stare at the party window playing whack-a-mole. It was satisfying until Alderaan, but now I have too many abilities, they're always on cooldown and I need to invigorate after every single fight(But then I guess on a PVP server that might be good practice).
PS. This is in addition to the fact that I'm getting uglier and uglier. Not only am I struggling to feel like a Jedi, but I know in a few levels I won't look like a Jedi.
Same here. Getting a new skill sould be fun and interesting. right now I just think "oh no, not another skill i don't know how to keybind".

Without Auctioneer, WoW's isn't much better. For a non-addon system LOTRO has a good one. REALLY needs a robust search function.
They improved the AH in WoW in the later patches. So its very usable even without the auctoneer addon. And still, even the AH in WoW 1.0 was ten times better than the GTN we have in SWTOR.

I was levelling by my lonesome with the chat tabbed away. Someone had been persistently asking me for help in /say. I'm not sure whether the person knew how to whisper as when I apologised and explained, he/she never replied. Makes me feel awful that someone asked for help and I just pulled a blind eye. Chat bubbles would have fixed this because I shan't lie—the annoying sod was buzzing around me for a while, following me, and I thought him weird when all he was doing was asking for help. If I saw the bubble...
This. i've been in this situation as well. Although the player trying to communicate with me wasn't this persistant But still it made me feel bad for not replying to him.

I hated Nar Shaddaa as well. Not as much as OP, but enough to not wanting to return there when i level up my alts
But still some of my friends loved the place. So I guess we are all different?

when this happens , close the box with the "X" on the reward window , it will go to the top right corner of the screen in the "pending " box, when they are back from mission you can click the pending button to bring the reward window back. and choose the item you want , dunno how many missions you can store like this , my most is 5 when i clicked away 4 companion missions and a player mission because my bags were full
hope this helps !
Thanks for your answer, but I think you misunderstood me
What i meant was if you companion hasn't returned for the mission yet so you can't summon him for say another 20-30 minutes. I know about the pending quest reward box. But since he/she hasn't returned with any rewards yet there is no boxed to be closed and moved to pending

I have to agree. A toggle option for chat bubbles would be very welcome. (Why would you even vote no to such an option as long as it's a toggle function?).
I've missed /s directed towards me more then one time because the just get mixed up with the general chat. and while im questing im not playing much attention to the chat anyway.
(I guess i could create a separate chat windows for /s but with the current limited UI settings there really isn't much room for another chat window.)

Maybe this has been said/asked before, and if so I'm sorry. Maybe I'm blind but I can't seem to find any search function on this forum.
Anyway, what I wanted to say was that I think you should be able to view all your companions equipment whether or not they are summoned. For example it's quite annoying when you are questing on a planet and temporarily have arrived at the equipment commendation vendor and you find a piece of gear that may or may not be better then what your companion currently have equipped. But you can't say for sure because your companion is out on a mission for another 30 or so minutes. So either you cancel the mission, wait at the vendor for the remainder of the mission time or simply try to remember to visit that vendor at a later time. (The latter never works for me though, the next time I find myself at that vendor 9 out of 10 times that companion is out on another mission since I forgot about that vendor).
And just to clarify.
I'm not saying that you should be able to equip/unequip gear on companions you do not have summoned. Just be able to view it

The AH, sorry GTN, needs a major overhaul.
The search function is really really bad. There should be more filter options when you search for stuff. Also Hotlinking items into Name Filter would be a very welcome feature.
And the feedback you get when you sell stuff is close to nothing. "You sold something to someone, gratz here is your credits".
And why oh why in the name of the Force isn't bidding on items allowed?? Who ever in the developers team that came up with that idea should be put through a drug test immediately...

What gets me is when people say 'all launches are this way'. This is not a bloody excuse! Just because one company fails, or even most, does not give Bioware a carte blanche to do the same. This type of rhetorics is so blatantly false so it's a wonder that people still actually try to use them.
