  1. Crafting was created to be a HUGE money/time sink, so unlikely that this would change.

I would like to disagree in the difficulty of finding nodes, because if you look on your map it will show up there and from there it is a simple matter of going to it.

While i am on the fence about the number nodes spawned at any one time; I would appreciate a little bump to the yield of missions.

But what i would really love to see changed the most those is the stats on crafted items so that it is better than commendation gear.

  2. just to post some benefits to tanking:

    1) easier to find groups/ability to pick your own group

    2) priority in loot drops(applicable in guild runs)

    3) get to feel like god in that you are very difficult to take down

    4) the skill required to play a tank often lets you play other roles/classes well( not always the case)

    5) you get to feel important

  3. There is no viable reason for dual speccing in this game.. Healers and tanks all do respectable DPS.. You can PVP in your PVE specc.. That is actually how Bioware intended it.. So.. There simply is no logical reason for dual speccing of any kind..

    ^ this

Also i appreciated that bioware made every role useful in pvp especially tanks.

Sith Warrior PvP tank = awesome

  4. I'm just not seeing any of this as an armormech. I'm only L28, but I'm brining in about 20K a day selling blues and oranges that I craft as I level my skills and RE for the right schematics.

There are definitely some pieces that sell better than others, but overall the market is definitely taking shape from what I can see. The only problem as I see it is that there aren't enough people making stuff. I have a hell of a time finding buff stims, color crystals, etc.

    ^ this

Also idk how many ppl realize that buy you can make mods for gear that can't be bought by using commendations.

  5. History: I am a developer, i have done a 0 to alpha mmo rpg in 2k1

Your story lines are great but you seem to lack the mmo skill.

sorry to rant but i do love the game and its story. but common we expect more modern features. which is why i say the game lacks mmo and is more single player.

Just so you know Bioware has made single player games and so that is were thier experience lies

  6. Yeah, you're right... they should definitely leave this system in the game. I mean, hey, all the hardcore players are pissed about no companion death, so let's punch everyone who gives a damn about surnames right in the jaw because you're still stewing about a decision that was made over a year ago. Right? Right? That's, you know, totally logical.

Names don't affect anyone but their owner, not withstanding situations where they are offensive. My desire or ability to change my name once or a thousand times should be nobody's business but my own.

I'll also add: you have absolutely no right to know who my alts are. The minute legacy names are forced to be displayed is the minute I and thousands of other players quit the game.

Just so you know that the reason companion deaths were removed was because players would gimp themselves crafting/soloing-wise.

Surnames shared across all your characters doesn't not gimp you gameplay-wise

Also personally, i love that my characters can all share the same name/legacy. I have put alot of thought into what it should be

  7. i DID pick a side. if i got 1000 light points that means i did as much for "good" as jedi anakin whatshisface over there.

what does it matter that i also did 1000 darkside points as well? there's no consistancy in the game for BEING both light and dark. your mentor or whoever you visit doesn't change his dialog. he doesn't scowl at you reproachfully for killing women and children on hoth, so long as whatever choices you make in his presence are good and wholesome.

therefore with zero consistency in the story, what do you care "who rewards you?"

you're saying this as if it BREAKS SOMETHING that isn't currently BROKEN.

So your basically saying that in the movies that anakin should be able to go back to the jedi after earning his "1000 darkside points" go to the jedi and say " Can i get my jedi robes?"(which keep in mind it involved helping to bring about the downfall of the jedi and the republic).

Also the point as to why your mentor doesn't change is dialog is because he doesn't hear/learn about details of what occured

  8. you gain legacy experience with all of your characters toward the same legacy on your account.... How is this discouraging you from playing alts?

The problem is that if we level a chiss bounty hunter and manage to get it to lvl 50, then shortly after its released that through the legacy system you can be a trandoshan. And you want to play that you basically have to remake that alt just to play a different race.

This could be avioded by just releasing races that will be unlockable earlier

  9. But that is the point man. Your epic implants won't make you rich, just like my crafted epic weapons and barrels won't make me rich....because you can PvP and do dailies to get them free for 1/10 of the manpower you put into creating the epic implant. Not to mention the daily and PvP items that can just take a couple of hours to get are one tier higher than what we can craft...so 2 hours for a superior product, or shelling out 40k on the GTN for something inferior-take a guess what the majority of people will do.

While this is a valid point. You will still run into the people that don't want to put in the time foe pvping/ doing dailes and instead go the easier route of buying good items instead
