  1. I'll say you do you have a toy the remote control starship mixed in with your pets that's just bad hoarding son. ;)

I'm a hoarder and the 50% collection sales were great to help me clear out a bunch of outfits I was piecing together.

The easiest thing is to limit your hoarding to maybe 2 bays per character unless you just have packmule hoarding storage characters. Thankfully I'm not that bad yet, at least I don't think I am, I generally keep 2-3 bays of crafting mats on my main crafters and the rest is their bound gear from life and some odds and ends they are storing. Non crafters just have a bay of mats to be distributed/sold and the rest is for storage of items/attempts to piece together outfits, or stuff I hold onto to sell when they aren't so cheap.

remote control stuff are pets. I have 2 accounts with 22 chars on each account on the same server just so I can store the stuff. I don't feel like subgrouping even further.

  2. No, but it takes up fields and tables in their database structure. No one knows what structure that is, and it may have some limitations all by itself. Also, why should Bioware accommodate the extreme end of player behavior? And your behavior, as you yourself described, IS extreme. They design the game around the most common behavior. You sound like the Cat Woman who is mad at the City for slapping her with a fine for having too many cats.

I'm reaching the limits of my Legacy Storage myself because I wanted all materials available to all players for crafting, since I have several scavengers and archaeologists, etc. And it looks like I'll have to use the same solution you have, to use unused fifth tabs on player storage to accommodate the stacks of 99 that are accumulating.

Or I could just sell 'em. Because it can't possibly be something to put on the front burner. It simply does not affect that many people. And they ought to be able to tell this readily by a simple database query. "How many items does the average player keep in storage? How many pieces do 99% of the players keep in storage." According to the last interview with the analytics guy, it would take them a few seconds to get the answer. My guess is that you are at the extreme end: 99.999% or something, which is ten in a million. I'm guessing, of course, but if something like that is really the case, you can't expect them to accommodate you.

I might be rarer than most, 4.5 bays of vehicles, 10 bays full of mats, 17 bays of adaptive armor (excluding the many bays of just crates). However, how many people open just a single hypercrate and then 24 packs of stuff? THat can flood your entire account.

Also, just organizing it is difficult.

Its an outadated system and it needs revamped.

  3. None of those links work for me.

But anyway, hoarders always have storage problems. I regularly have to go through my Legacy Storage to clear out some of the armor and weapons I've gathered. (I spend way too much on CCs and packs. :) )

So far, I've had a relatively easy time getting rid of stuff I find ugly, or that I'm never going to use but it's getting closer to the time when I want to keep everything. :)

    try now

And yes I realize I am a hoarder, but I still think a much better system could be put in place. Why are we limited to 5 tabs anyway? Why not let us have 50 tabs? Does it take up bandwidth?

  4. Alright, I have a problem with storage, and perhaps hoarding. But the other day I started to try to organize my belongings. About 10 hours of moving things back and forth. Creating mules, moving stuff back and forth. Some mules have just one type of item such as crystals or boots. I have 2 mules with 9 slots of nothing but crates. With so many items, BW really needs to revamp the storage and the way things are kept.

They need to have something like "Collections" of all items and be able to stack all same items.

    Am I alone in this?

Below are some images that just scratch the surface:

  5. Even if I had, it wouldn't make your question less ridiculous.

Ok try to follow this if you can. The OP made a post about how to make characters quickly in hopes of getting a good item from the Cantina crate. Now you can argue about the reasoning behind it, if this intentional or not, or whatever. That wasn't my question to the OP. My question is regarding getting things like black dyes on these newly created chars, that I am assuming he is not going to level a char just because it has bound black dye bound to it. So with the exception of the pet and statue, the rest of these items are useless because they are bound/non-legacy items.

  6. The issue here is that 'creating char and deleting them over and over' is viable at all. It's completely ridiculous that one needs to spend (a lot of) time on this "part of the game" to get that grand Statue.

No that's a different issue. I am asking why getting black dyes on a char that cannot be traded or even put in legacy are worth keeping on a char you wont play?

  7. Ok, so l will tell you another secret. In WZ's people are going to die, you know you will, you clicked the button to join. The satisfaction of winning lasts all of about 2 seconds after the match is over. Open world PvP and locking down a zone causes anger on other players. To the winning side it is 10000x more satisfying to frustrate your enemy than to win a WZ.

Here are a couple more things that add to the thrill for the winner:

    1. Having the losing side get on an alt and spam the zone with hate.

    2. Someone rage quiting

    3. Someone to actually go to the boards and openly complain.

  8. but it is the "entitled" needy childish demand that people dictate all the time. Its kinda sad... if they wanted to post the notes they would have demanding them post them is nothing but childishness.

Yes, because going back and reading the OP, I can tell that he is going to rage quite if they are not posted. Just look at the fowl language the OP made in just the first 4 paragraphs of his rant. I can't believe the expletives passed the censors. I did think he went a little far by calling it all Bush's fault, but hey, it probably is.

  9. Don't forget to optimize your interface to maximize your clicking, and if you have force speed use it with backpeddle for best results.

Lol, too funny, but many people wont know it. And that's the reason I get most of my kills.

  10. Ok, I am a returning player from just after launch and decided to roll the opposite class as what I would normally play. That happens to be a jugg. I keep hearing people refer to Smash Monkey or Lolsmash, or various builds that I assume are built around Smash. What build is this? Isnt smash one of them most useful skills for warriors regardless of the build?
  11. Thank you all,

I appreciate the feedback. I am getting better at playing the assassin and even seem to have some significant impact in the warfronts, although I am sure I am not playing to peak assassin abilities.

Yesterday the warzone where you put all the bombs on the doors, I placed all of them for our team and first to unlock the bridges/shields. I had very little damage because I was just stealthing, bombing doors, then running to the next. No MVP votes for me, but meh, I guess nobody is paying attention to who is doing what.

  12. Hello, I am a fairly new player and a long-time clicker who has since turned to key binding.

I am currently a level 34 Assassin, and mostly PvP, and just do quests to get some levels.

I seem really squishy as a Deception Assassin, so I changed to Darkness. I read the stickied guide which says my main job is to harass the enemy. I have several keys bound as my 1-6 skills, any more than that and I tend to click the wrong buttons.

So just wondering, what should my main skills be when I am attacking, and are there any that are worthless to have key binded?

Also, I tend to jump back and forth through players as I am meleeing them. I know this causes me to miss a lot because I am facing the wrong way, but I am spamming my clicks and turning into them constantly. I am hoping this is causing them not to land some hits on me. Am I just annoying and doing it wrong, or is there a better method I should be doing?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

  13. I have a simple question

is there a server on the north American side

that has a big comounity on republic side

sofar i have not found it

If some of you can help post or mail thank you

Helms of Graush or however you spell it has a very healthy Republic side. I am Empire and we have 50 on 50 battles every day all evening long in Ilum.

  14. Sorry, not sure if these are all published or common knowledge or whatever.

Anyway, every time I hear the male PvP vendor in the Fleet speak, it sounds exactly like Jermaine from Flight of the Conchords.

Does anyone know who it is, or are the voice actors all listed somewhere?
