  1. I was also curious about this warzone challenge button.

Maybe it's a challenge, like, participate in 5 warzones without leaving early, or play through an entire warzone without being stunned from 100% hp to dead.

  2. Is Isle of Conquest the Warhammer Online battleground with the two bases and the air ship? At least I think that was Warhammer, It reminded me of that one quite a bit.
  3. I switched from CP to full Pyro a couple weeks ago, basically you are trading a small amount of (PVP) survivability and charge for much higher burst. Once you get used to not having charge, Pyro is far superior imo.
  4. My understanding is that the next patch will make going to Ilum fully optional since you can get credit for the daily/weekly during warzones. I guess it's BW's way of acknowledging Ilum is terrible and allowing us a way out of it. Hopefully they are brainstorming a way to rework it entirely at some point in the future.
  5. Wow that was pretty boring. Also raged a bit when I noticed the player was a clicker.

GW2 will probably be awesome though, I will definitely be trying it, and obviously if TOR doesn't get it's act together by then, they will be in trouble.

  6. Gladoss, titdiscus, Leoran: What do you plan to against Warzones’ AFK, more particularly about players who leave Warzones ? Will there be sanctions for this type of behavior?

Gabe Amatangelo: It is not sanctioned behavior. In Game Update 1.2 we will be making changes to the Warzone rewards system, which will de-incentivize this type of behavior. This will include the removal of the interim bag/quest system, the introduction of the direct purchase of gear from Warzone and Ranked Warzone commendations, 14 new objective-based medals and participation scaling the rewards. Additionally, players will have the option to vote kick idlers. Kicked players will not be able to re-queue for several minutes.

Hopefully these changes help with the medal problems there are now.

  7. I dropped cyber/scav/underwold aswell for bio... theres no reason atall to keep cyber, sure grenades have their uses but pots etc on bio are much more usefull.

Only used a few cyber items while leveling then useless at 50 as all mods etc in gear are better than our own epic ones. Oo

Exactly this, I made my level 50 speeder, so there is absolutely no reason for me to continue with cybertech at 50.

    /stuck

It will probably be fixed in the next patch, Bioware doesn't detail exploit fixes in the PTS patch notes. If it's not, well I dunno, guess that's Bioware's fail.
  8. 1) Mock people on their team instead of trying to coach them.

    2) Tell others how bad they are and how bad everyone else except them is instead of trying to help them improve their game play.

    3) Overreact when something bad happens, rage at the rest of the team and demotivate them.

    AND....in forum PvP

    1) Make posts like the OPs.

While I certainly do find it annoying when people overreact and ridicule people during a game, since that also means they are doing that much less to contribute. I do not have a problem with threads like this, some times these are honest mistakes or just ignorance, and threads like this might help people become better.

  9. The option to select which WZ you are queuing for is something that should have been added from the start. However, because of Bioware's decision to make warzones faction vs faction (except huttball), not cross-server, and only having 3 of them at release, this is not really feasible.

You would just have 15+ minute queue times by choosing not to queue for huttball.

As others have said, the solution should be to add more warzones (cross-server preferably), and then add the ability to select which ones you want to queue for.

  10. Huttball represents everything BW did right (and should continue to do) in regards to PvP.

Yup, so long as their new warzones don't add more abilities for me to hotkey I'm all for similarly unique warzones... Better yet, add more abilities but make them all bindable to the same key (Generic Warzone Ability).

  11. Huttball is indeed the best (imo), most original warzone. They only problem with it, which is likely the reason so many people don't like it, is that many of us are forced to play it ~80% of the time. This is the result of faction imbalance along with this being the only current warzone that can put you against your own faction.

Hopefully when the new warzone is released, huttball will become more bearable for people.

  12. Warzones where we are losing and come back to win are the most fun, it's unfortunate that people would rather have an easy win, instead of a win that you have to play well for. I guess I can understand it though.
  13. Agree with OP, Bioware did a good job with PVP gear, which is a huge difference from the last MMO I played, Rift. It doesn't take very long to become competitive.

Granted I actually had an easier time of it. I got to 50 before the bag change and got really lucky with champ tokens. Got almost my entire set including weapon within a day or two.
