  1. It's all just PR. They ask for our feedback to make us feel like we have input, thereby helping to blunt criticism and anger. We are being "managed" in a thoroughly cynical manner. This is the corporate way.

    Yup. Business as usual.

Starts with unreasonable high crafting costs.

    6.0.2

Oh, piece of candy (slight improvement)

    6.0.3

Oh, piece of candy (slight improvement)

    6.0.4

Oh, piece of candy (slight improvement)

And so on. Maybe i'll check by in a year or two.

  2. I've looked over someone else's shoulder for earlier PTS builds but now, I don't think any feedback I could provide would be listened to. IMHO the devs have already decided I'm not in the demographic they care about.

I'd rather spend the last few weeks enjoying the game live before it becomes unplayable for me. I'm not going to be playing my 70s very much once 6.0 drops because I don't want them getting to 75 and being forced into the gearing mess.

I think i'll do the same. Wait a year or two, and if the game is still up and running, take a look into it then. But for now, i'll enjoy the last weeks of 5.x.

  3. Not likely to happen. The developers wants to keep the grind alive, and BIS gear gathering as slow as possible. It sounds harsh, but it is not necessarely bad, since if i could get all the BIS gear in 1 - 2 weeks , there be a fair chance i would quit since i ran out of things to do/goals to accomplish, or post whiny notes about not enough content.

So the developers will try to put the grind to a level where they think it will make most accept it, and stay subbed long enough. Money makes the world go around, so we get a game to play, they get to get their pay too. I guess their metrics shows they are better off making the system RNG based instead of none-rng based.

If i like their RNG systems, not at all. Like others have said, time is a resource as well, and one that i don't have too much to spare anymore. IMO it is a bit like "working" for the payment of a single lottery ticket. Not my thing, unfortunly.

  4. On one day I was playing unranked warzones and out of the 100 games I played 100 of those were losses. Is the algorithm that puts players into teams truly fair or equal? Or for the sake of convenience the teams are composed of bots with human names with preprogrammed orders to act in certain ways.

100 out of 100 losses, in 1 day?

With that kind of odds, i don't think the team is to blame for your losses, bots or not. And with that amount, i'm not sure who's the bot either...

  5. I am sooo endlessly tired of pvp in this game. It is a **** fest of mind-numbing grind, fotms, premades and generally unbalanced matches. People no longer win because they are good, but rather because one or several external factors happened to be in place. It is very, very rarely an even match these days, and should it happen, well, it's probably because both sides has 3 million healers and tanks and is it a boring stalemate.

So, what else do you guys play?

IMO, 7 days to Die. It is however, not an MMO.

  6. Thought it was a necro at first.

But i do support the idea of better matchmaking. Can't help but wonder

why it has never been put into place. Or maybe there is a system, but for some

reasons it don't work so very well.

  7. No one takes "[solo Ranked]" seriously. It's never been balanced, never will be balanced, and has always had FOTMs that dominate it while weaker classes can't even participate.

Why do you act offended by the present meta anymore than all the previous ones? All the whining about mercs is old hat now, stop beating the dead horse it's been pounded into jelly by this point.

The horse may look dead, but it still heals to full pretty much all the time. :p

  8. ...to get full 242. Not sure if I'm lucky or it took me a long time. Focused and warzones in premades to ensure maximum wins and GSF when I was solo (ug) to get components rolling. I got (6) 242s before 5.1 (was rank 295) and only (1) after 5.1 after a dry spell of around 240 crates. The rest came from components, and 3 of the items had to be built from the ground up, almost 3000 components.

I am burnt the fk out.

    FU BW.

    Have fun grinding!

Now you can do what you ground the gear for.

Me? I don't grind, i just play the game.

  9. I like playing my TK sage. The thump-thump sound is much more exciting then both the

pewpewpewpew sounds from my "slinger", and bang-bang-bang from my sniper.

Kinda wish telekinetic wave was instant by default, and not having to bug-trigger it though.

Or made instant by 2 telekinetic bursts, or 1 turbulence, simular to snipers followthrough.

  10. yeah, mixing the factions is the only thing that will make it better I think. if there are 2 premade imp groups maybe put them on opposite sides... that kinda thing.

Aye. With the alliance in the current storyline, it would actually make some sense lorewise too.

Not too much, but at the current state of the game, it may be the better option.

  11. Other than PVP the game is amazing and the new Eternal Throne story was AWESOME!

After a year away from this game I come back and play over 50 rounds of PVP.

    (lvl 70, good gear)

Rep win rate is about 20%

Sure sometime you get on a bad pub team, but MOST of the time Reps get slaughtered.

Sometimes I am suspicious of hackers but never can tell for sure.

Often two or three Reps cant take down a single Imp. OFTEN!

You may have excuses or reasons but it won't change my opinion and experience.

The only reason I grind PVP is for the rewards.

I like fair PVP, and don't cry over a fair loss. I wouldn't complain if the win rate was closer to between 40% - 50%.

Fun PVP would keep me as a Sub but there are other games out there that have way better PVP that I am thinking about.

Best way to improve win rate is to form a group with 3 other players and then que as a group.

Been that way since start of the game i think, and not much have changed since then, if winning

    is the goal.
