Is it possible for role-playing purposes to skip the class story line in order to have a character without their own ship, and can only get around other other player's space crafts? I don't know how much of the player storyline unlocks other quests on other planets, but there are plenty of other ways to get experience. I'm curious to how it might help develop a personal sense of being helpless in the galaxy, and more dependant on the help of others to get around the universe. Any thoughts?

Yes I know about that. And I intend to fully equip him modable parts, motors and sensors to make him viable. He'll only be lacking a weapon of stats and tech power.
That's why I wanted to know if there was any kind of customization to change his appereance and make him look less... goldish...
Yeah, I was hoping for a gun metal gray skin for him. Maybe later they will add some flavour to him.

Hello my fellow Canadians! Have we come to a consensus yet for servers? I'd like to roll on a Canadian heavy server, so sound off here if you are West or East coast and PvP or PvE. Maybe we can get a consensus.. isn't that what we we're known for?
East here, and my guild is on Grand Master Zym. Not sure about anyone else.

Played on that server years ago, although I had a less then spectacular experience with the game on a number of occasions. Was in Order of Silverflame with our city on Naboo.
