  1. I support this just so I can banish black-core sabers from my screen. They are disgusting and I seriously hope whoever at Bioware thought they were a good idea is one of the devs that are now gone.

I really thought it was a glitch the first time I saw one. I couldn't believe anyone would CHOOSE to make something look that bad.

    Truth.

  2. After all the anger I've felt at Bioware over their "poor experience by design" F2P model, this post really put me in a better mood. It makes me happy to hear the game is still expanding, and the people I liked hearing from are still involved and working on it.

    Seriously, thank you OP.

  3. This game isn't here solely for our enjoyment. It is a business product that, to remain viable, HAS to earn money.

Want to play but not pay, fine but you are not going to get the full benefit that you would by subscribing. Want to "al la carte" your game? Fine, but expect to pay for coins to "unlock" what you want.

F2P does not mean you get everything for nothing. It never has. Be thankful you get to go to 50 free since most F2P don't allow access to level cap without paying for it.

This is my biggest problem with Bioware and you jaded players... Call them perks for subscribers, but really these restrictions are punishments for not paying. It's called poor experience by design. What happens when you strangle hold the experience of a game that already has trouble maintaining subscribers... Yea...

And by the way, these restrictions affect everyone, not just the F2Pers. The games economy is hurt, the PVP/End game participation is hurt, Hell I can't even sprint if I'm grouped with a F2Per, I'm getting punished now for wanting a MMO experience.

Remember that phrase - - Poor experience by design.

  4. Are the black core sabers' the most powerful? I'd personally be happy if you could find/buy the equivalent with a white core. That would give players more choice - - that way players aren't forced into having a black core when they want the best gear.

Most of these color crystals are bought on the WZ market right? Again just add the same equivalent to the buy menu with white cores.

White-core sabers with equivalent stats already exist for all colors.

    Then to Op,

I suggest next time you see someone wielding a black-core saber, don't let it bother you like it should bother them.

    Sincerely,

    Grant

P.S. - Yes black core sabers bother me too. Nothing beats how annoyed I was at all the pre-order black-yellow sabers running around at launch. Thanks for that Bioware.
