I think its a bit of everything. Mainly not been smart or not noticing the 25% booster running out -.-
Thanks for the tips on how best to catch back up with the curve.
I guess i've learnt my lesson the hard way. 2 hrs of grind hew we go!
Honestly it's not that bad. A few space combat missions with XP boost later, a few companion conversations, you'll easily level up.
I forgot about the above, use your general xp boost still (minor/major) and it'll stack on the regular 12x boost.

If you're doing nothing but class missions you should be far enough ahead at that point. I went from 43 to 54 on my jugg in a few hours and was behind by a level before the boost but afterwards ahead by a few levels.
At this point, do war zone, space combat, or GSF to catch back up and then you should be ahead of the curve or else you'll face the same issue over and over again.

I'll never understand it either.
Open World PVP I generally tend to let extremely low level players pass and might even joke around a bit with them but if you're above 40 you're going down at least once and then you're free to walk away (and use this to motivate you to get to 55 to take me down in revenge) - this is war! Or at least I thought it was?

Went through a bottle of wine, popped for a 55 HM (actually had a few friends over as we all play together).
Apologized ahead of time that I may not be on point tonight (well ahead of time being midway through the FP) then the healer chimed in and informed us that he too had been drinking 9 or 10 shots of whiskey at that point (or she?).
Tank says, I don't care, I suck at tanking but you guys are making my life extremely easy right now. Apparently when I'm intoxicated I do really well in HM 55.
Ended that FP with thanks drunkos, great run haha.

I joined a GSF match, people were idling for the match to end quickly - I'm assuming for points.
I joined an unranked war zone match, in the last round and played for a full round. No one on my team had any kills (few people had any DMG at all). I thought to my self that this would be because they joined in right before the match ended but upon checking my logs no one was logging in/out of the match.

Mine is not a redundant "army of chairs" but for some reason I am 100% complete but still only have like 57,000 prestige. I do not understand why. anyone give me some pointers? My stronghold is on NS and everything is unlocked.

Are the unique items placed within the stronghold? I believe it's linked to that not just what you've unlocked.

Yea, cheapest fix for me may be SSD. 4 sticks of 2gb DDR2 ram would cost more and be a waste.
Realistically you need more than 4GB to be gaming in the first place honestly. You've got the overhead of windows and most services that'll take an easy 512-1024 MB of ram then you add in the game which can run 1.5GB+ and you can see why it quickly adds up.
The single best upgrade in any machine that is on a mechanical hard drive still is a SSD. It'll not only improve game loading times but also the rest of the computer experience overall.

You claim that RAM is much faster than an SSD. I said, "yep, you're right, it is, but it doesn't matter much for this application."
Yes, the performance will improve if the files are moved from a HDD to RAM, the HDD has enough latency attached to it that any hit to it can bring even the fastest computer to a crawl.
A SSD closes the gap enough to make the difference very minor indeed.

Your first post claims a speed improvement, even on SSDs. I'm saying that it would be a rare case that it would be true. Sure, there are crappy SSDs out there, sure there are people with mismatched hardware...
But in most cases, someone who has a SSD should also have a decent computer and a decent amount of RAM. Loading the game from RAM instead of a SSD won't show a major improvement, most of the time...
It made a difference in my load times and FPS drops in certain areas. I don't consider my self to have a slow rig at all (especially having two SSD in RAID 0). In the end you're skipping an entire controller in the stream of the game to the GPUs and that's what can make the difference.

1- You can actually move the settings window by left clicking in its background, holding the left button and moving. Is that enough for your need? PS : You can also drag and drop the main window the same way when no subwindow is opened.
2- The thing is, unless some people take the time to actually measure the benefits of individual assets, it can't be said. Looking at people tryouts, I would say that surprisingly maybe, it's faster to put only DiskArena+LocalApp+FX+Dynamics+100Mb than puting more assets in the ramdrive. By the way I pay about 5min a month actually, so I'm not that much into heavy changes to the code.

When you're in the settings menu the rest of the program becomes immune to being clicked except for the attributes (that was my first instinct and attempt).
I actually took a screenshot of each setting on load into each zone doing before and after of what my settings are now. I understand I wouldn't want to invest more than that in a free utility.
I own an IT Consulting company so I've got a lot of experience in this field, especially in dealing with symbolic links in server environments. The fact of the matter is the program runs fine, every time. I've yet to curse the program (minus the DPI scaling issue but that's niche thing I'm sure).
Well done! As far as anyone else doing it, it's free. Go for it, competition only improves things...except for anti-virus.

I have an issue on 1080p with the save and close button not being able to be shown (it's because I'm on my 60" big screen for HTPC so DPI Scaling is at 120%~).
I tried disabling DPI scaling with the flag in program shortcut but that didn't work, eventually I figured out if you moved the task bar from the bottom of the screen to the left and back you could see the buttons.
This allowed me to save and enter the game which produced horrible FPS in comparison to the normal 100 FPS I was getting in areas. I unchecked the DPI Scaling flag and all back to normal plus a little bit faster of load times.
I've got RAID 0 SSD so I didn't expect too much of a gain but it has helped in some areas with the random drops (100 FPS then down to 60-70 FPS then back up).
I would recommend making the program sizable or movable even with the settings dropped down by grabbing anywhere in the program.
My only other recommendation would be more preset buttons for the areas. Some things are probably not obvious to computer savvy people.

Myself and a few others were finishing a few missions on Quest when all of a sudden <Ghosts> (or something along those lines) showed up outside of the main base (IMP) and pulled one of the NPC big 55. I'm not that high, only 40 and a 45 so I decided to go out there and antagonize it to have some fun.
My friends thought I was crazy but the 45 was a sniper so I was able to stay back far enough and take pot shots and protect our lonely 55 that happened to be there to help the showing up 55s at this point. They decided to help heal so essentially someone stepped on an ants nest and there ended up being I would say a good 15-20 players on my screen at once if not more doing PVP.
This is the reason why I'm happy I switched to Jung Ma. It was very fun to have a random PVP skirmish like that out of the blue at I think midnight and to see reinforcements arrive in such a rush one by one. I'm not sure if they (<Ghosts>) gave up or got their kill but they didn't get the 55 guard they pulled I believe. Sure, my poor jug got killed on the first swipe but I tried! The sniper didn't fair so bad until they pulled me hehe

I as well as another person moved all of our characters over as well for the same reasons.

Simple fix:
Base it on the base unlock prestige of unique items in the stronghold plus any additional (example, first chair is 100, second is 2). They actually have to be placed, none of this just in your inventory stuff.

I have went to every single vendor and kiosk i can find on nar shaddaa and can't find it. I give up. Such a waste of money.
It's on the fleet in the bottom right hand corner. It's a new icon that you haven't seen before - there are three posts down there now that say for each home stead. You'll have to 'purchase' it for 0 credits.

Which achievement in particular? The have five people visit your stronghold one? No friends or guild mates to show up at it?
I'm not bashing you, merely analyzing - it's a gift and a curse.

I'm guilty of this currently, but it's only temporary. Once I get to the 100% conquest bonus, I am going to go back and make all of mine presentable.
Understandable but does it have to be listed public for the conquest bonus or can it be hidden? I haven't checked that far into that side of things because I don't do the conquest side of things yet.

I love the idea of the voting system personally as that would make it worthwhile to visit. If you're at the bottom of the list you're doing something wrong, but some people wouldn't care about being at the top.
As far as the achievements go - I think the base of it still needs to be unlisted is preferred. The +5 social members can be achieved with guild mates visiting or friends easily.
On a side note, I loved my setup and discovered that the RP-PVP server had a much nicer environment for me to be in and a friend of mine had all of her characters over there anyways so I transferred. I've seen some NICE places over on the new server.
Lost all of my items in legacy bank and lost my entire design for each one of my houses, 70% - gone. The items transferred thankfully so I'll just have to rebuild them but I had a LOT of time invested in mine already. D'oh

I may be the minority in this but I feel like I'm not the only one that's slightly annoyed by this - I know not everyone cares about the Stronghold side of things and just wants the achievement and to move on but why list it public so people like us who enjoy traveling about to see other's work have to show up and be greeted by a room full of chairs and pictures.
I've seen some decent looking places but almost every 100% place I've visited has been filler rooms (i.e. cheap as possible fill in the hooks as quickly as possible).

Did Cademimu HM 55 the other day.
Everyone was "ok" in the gear level (with some lower level stuff that should have been replaced to be on that one), no big deal it happens - we all start somewhere.
I ask if anyone has done it yet? No response, not a single response until someone tells me to kill the normal enemies before the strong - I replied I am, you probably saw it auto target a gold after I dropped one of the normal mob trash since I drop them so fast I have to hit the next target quite often in comparison to a melee dps or tank. He said, oh it's the idiot shadow then...I just shook my head and moved on.
I pulse covered a gold to the edge, and then went to ambush him off, and then someone force pushes the gold back into center. This happens multiple times, whatever, easy kills just means longer times in the FP.
Get yelled at to SB, even though everyone was (this is a pet peeve of mine, if you want to skip the animations ask nicely at the start or during, don't be a ***** about it because I'll be that guy that sits there and draws everyone out if you yell at me to do it - learn manners).
Get to the wookie, with the Ugnaughts. I assumed by their terrible navigation of the FP they don't know to keep them close to the boss instead of trying to DPS them afterwards or during so I announced, as soon as I went to type the tank pulls without doing a ready check whatsoever, I run towards the boss (as a sniper this is counter to my normal stance but it works) so I tell them to come inward multiple times, instead they run off to the ships trying to kill the mini wookies. Finally killed the boss and the Ugnaughts and I announced "fyi next time if everyone stands next to the boss you can do that part a whole lot faster and not have to worry about the Ugnaughts"; the terrible melee dps who was running around pvp circiling the Ugnaughts goes "..." and says for me to hurry up and get up there...I was literally 10m behind them in my normal spot, because I have a 35m range. I just face palmed...
