Won't happen, you might as well stop asking. Bioware created an elaborate pre-launch guild system to guarantee we could play with our friends. Locking the full server destroys that system. They won't do it.

I play on a full server with friends, and we have lots of other friends who want to play with us who didn't preorder. If our friends pay $60 for the game and can't play with us, they will want their money back and rightly so.
Do not lock full servers.
Stop complaining.

YUP everyone is so thrilled to be playing the game. the tenor of general chat will change over time but for now it's fun.

AGREED! I talk on IM on one monitor no matter what I am doing, and its a pain with SWTOR because I can't hear what people are saying if I do so.

They will add servers on Dec 20.
Also, it's prime time in EU and in America we are still working.

Gamestores have been lying to people about release dates and getting the details wrong for as long as I've been buying games. You have to do your research. If you don't you deserve what you get.

We've known for MONTHS that the amount of days you get is going to be based on pre-order time. You guys preordered less than 2 weeks before Dec 20, you'd be lucky to get a full day. Instead you are going to get FOUR.
Explain to me why you are complaining? It could be so, so, so much worse for you.

Leia. When Lucas wrote the first trilogy he thought Kenobi didn't know of Leia. Then, in the second trilogy, Kenobi is there at the birth of the twins. Bit of inconsistency there; there are plenty of others.

Obviously on launch day a little lag wouldn't surprise me. But during a controlled early access program with dozens of servers I was very surprised to hear this. Glad that it doesn't seem to be true.

Heard from someone in WoW that their actions were taking 10 seconds to go through, there is so much lag in game right now during prime time in SWTOR.

If you want to do Armstech, the recommendation is to get Scavenging and Investigation. If I drop Investigation and take Slicing instead, how much harder will it be to level and excel at Armstech? What will I be sacrificing?

from things I have read people go dps and have mako heal them; doing this they say they can take down elites easily. All hearsay though.
