  1. Since 4.0 launched. when opening the crew window, you see loads more crew than you used to, most of them you never use, either in the field or for crew skills missions.

Wouldn't it e just grand if we could order them so the one's we used most often were at the top?

  2. To be fair, Marauder is perhaps the hardest choice for a first char. There are "a lot of buttons to press", and you have to learn the rage mechanics, all the while the game is expecting you to kill stuff faster than they can kill you. Vette may provide the extra oomph, and Quinn may keep you alive just long enough, but it's always a close call until you really know your class.

Other classes are more forgiving: Juggers are more resilient, and everyone else starts combat with a full energy pool and has easier mechanics to empower special attacks.

    I'd say this.

I've levelled every class to 60 and Marauder/ Sentinel is the easiest to die quickly if you don't know the class. Either learn your class or roll a different toon. The most forgiving toon is the Powertech Tank. Loads of AoE to blitz the mobs, survivability, and mako to back you up from the start.

  3. Hi guys, looking at 4 PCs at the moment. Can you tell me what will run the game at the highest settings, and any other musings/ ramblings/ advice is welcome. Feel free to waffle.

  4. I see messages like this often- "Can someone help me with 'insert solo quest name'". Also LFG 'insert area4 quest name'

Now, I would like to help with the solo quest If I can, and I would often like to do the AREA quest, but if it's in a part of the map I haven't been to yet, I don't want to spend 20 minutes getting there on my speeder.

Would it not be a good idea when LFG in these cases, to say which part of the map you are in?

  5. Just had the weirdest thing ever happen to me in group finder.

Kuat Drive Yards, 2 guys unable to zone in, so drop group.

    Queue for replacements.

3rd guy can't be bothered waiting, drops group.

    3 new toons come in.

Apparently we were going too fast for someone, he drops group.

    Get replacement.

At end boss, guy goes AFK, gets kicked.

    Replacement arrives, we burn boss.

It took 9 players to complete the flashpoint, but never at any stage did anyone die or even come close to it. Aside from constantly finding replacements, it was a smooth run.

  6. I have loads of HM FP bosses unlocked, and can donate all of them to the guild stronghold, but can only place one of them in my personal stronghold, the rest are unplaceable.

The unplaceable ones can be gifted to the guild, but not placed in my personal stronghold. Is this a bug?

  7. Like, what are you supposed to do when there are two tanks in the group (is it just an Esseles thing)? If dps runs away and gets agro from everyone like crazy do I have to run after him? Or if he’s in range, is he my priority to heal or it’s still the tank? How much damage do I need to put out so not to be a dead weight? Or I need to concentrate on healing first? I’m still lvl 13 so I guess any good resource-managing rotation is yet to come, but I really want to learn the very basics of healing in FPs now, so I enter mid-levels prepared.

Also, what percentage of health I look for to start healing (as soon as damage is received or I wait for it to drop to 70-80%?) And would it be too much of a diva behavior asking my groupmates to heal between fights?

Your priority heal is always the Tank. If the tank dies, it's your fault. If the healer dies, it's the tank's fault. If the DPS dies it's their own fault.

It won't hurt to do some at times, but you don't need to do any damage whatsoever, that's the DPS job.

I usually make sure the tank is at 90%, the DPS don't drop below 50% and myself at about 75%, that's usually good enough, and yes, tell them to heal up between fights. If they don't, heal the tank and let the DPS die. If the tank doesn't heal up, it's not your fault if he dies.

  8. To follow youre own procs it's easy by adjusting youre interface so you can increase the size of youre buffs and see youre procs. For the dots on youre target one solution is to better know youre rotation so you know when you have to refresh. The other solution is to use the timers available parsec parsing software there you can manage custom timers.

    This ^^.

It's not ideal, but it's the best workaround so far that I have found.

  9. I am male.

    I have 8 level 55s, 6 male, 2 female,

My male toons have one set of armour and only one, but with my female toons I finds myself thinking, 'Ooh, that armour set looks lovely, I'll keep that in my cargo hold'.

    In my head.

    In a girly voice.

My 2 female toons now have somewhat extensive wardrobes in their ships. ***? Why do I start thinking like a girl just because my toon is a girl ??? What do the psychologists call this?
